great value lunch

myself , son and daughter were drawn down to this place by the special lunch offer. seemed too good to be true but the pizza was fantastic and would have still given it full marks at the regular price. puddings were particulary good value - only three on offer but that was what what we were... read more

We googled Italian restaurants in Google and this was at the top of the list with the best reviews. It's a lovely family run restaurant just of George Street so very easy to get to. They were busy when we arrived so took a little while to be served but our interactions with the staff were very friendly and welcoming.... More

Excellent lunch on a Sunday with some friends. The restaurant was quite quiet but our meals were excellent. Reasonably priced menu. Pizze with flavours to compare with Italy. Good selection of specials too including delicious lobster ravioli.

Visited this resturaunt at lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy, nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was lovely and value for money. Would recommend this resturaunt to others.

Called is for lunch special with 2 friends. Had the Lasagne. Burnt on top beyond recognition. Waiter just shrugged his shoulders. Also, so called house wine is £16.95 per. bottle. Reality is there is no house wine. Have been here before and it was OK apart from the price of their wine. My advice, go next door to Bar Naloli.... More

We popped in for lunch and you know how sometimes you go down into a restaurant and are then committed to taking a table, that was us. Initial impression very tired and dark (basic cutlery and the black cloths don't help). However I always rank things on not just the surroundings but the service and food. We both had seafood... A visit with another five friends few months ago. The table we had booked was not prepared, with (assuming) a member of staff's belongings on one of the chairs and remainings of rolling tobacco and probably the previous customers' meal which were never cleaned. That's fine, seemed busy. The soup I had for a starter was beautiful, but then the... More

We saw the offer and thought we'd give it a try. Superb service, good tasty food followed with a lovely glass of Rioga. The choice of dishes on the menu was great for the offer and effectively three courses for under a tenner each, which was amazing. We will be returning, no doubt.
