We ordered our takeaway online for a fixed time. When we arrived at the restaurant to pick it up we had to wait about ten minutes. But the ambience of the restaurant was lovely and we liked the decor. Staff were friendly. But the most important thing was the food was delicious - a myriad of flavours and very tasty... More

The food is amazing, delicious hummus, falafel, tabbouleh.. And they have every Middle Eastern dish you could ever want! The location is great, and it's tastefully decorated although on this occasion the service was very slow. It was a busy evening so I understand, but there was a massive wait between food and the bill, which was annoying. On the... More

Love it , love the food and service The menu has interesting collective Middle Eastern dishes on it . The restaurant has a takeaway service too. It is very close to the Main Edinburgh Mosque If members of the public want to know.

Lebanese cuisine is one of the best cuisines worldwide. Beirut really represents this great heritage with class. The prices are a bit high, but this is how a Middle Eastern feels when he eats Middle Eastern food abroad. The service is friendly, generous, and kind. Enjoy

Had a wonderful lunch, unfamiliar with the food, the waiter took the time to describe things to me. Backlava (i think that's how you spell it) was delightful! The sharing platter for 2 was enough for a third! or at least a doggy bag

Not sure whether I liked this or not. Title says it all. Bit like going back 30 years. We went between shows at the Festival so it was quite early and quiet. Place gave the impression that there would be a good atmosphere and it was certainly busy when we went passed on other nights. I have an aubergine dish.... More

We had a very nice night at Beirut last Sat. Food was exceptional especially the Kafta Khush-khash with the accompanying sesame sauce. The ambience was nice as well. Waiters were very attentive despite the extremely busy night. I highly recommend it especially for a group party.

This is a great wee place. Everyone (quite an international crowd) was enjoying themselves and the vibe was fun. Very nice, attentive staff. Great food - quite a large menu - with a lot of similar dishes, so make sure to mix it up a bit if sharing. The moussaka (not Greek style) was very good, as were the starters.... More

I've always loved Lebanese food. A few years ago, I had the privilege of spending a few weeks in Lebanon for a work project, where I reveled in Lebanese food at its finest. Unfortunately, when I returned to the US, I thereafter found most Lebanese restaurants disappointing. Recently, while traveling for work, I walked into the restaurant Beirut by chance... More
