Booked dinner for Saturday night and was not disappointed, fantastic food with excellent starters, good service and reasonably priced, recommend the vine leaves and hummus, main courses of shwarma chicken and lamb also very good. I would advise booking as it is a busy place we watched several people unable to get a table, no alcohol served on the premises... More

Went in on a Monday night and it was busy, which is a sign of a good restaurant. We had really nice 7 spicy Hummus for starter with Lebanese bread. For main I had chicken on skewers with rice. My wife had the spicy sausage. Both were lovely, with good sized portions. Will definitely go again

This place is a great little restaurant with a good middle eastern menu. It wasn't busy when we arrived but it was filled up quickly so I'd book if you would like to dine here. I had a chicken shish kebab for main course and it was delicious, as was the baklava! Note that this restaurant has a BYOB policy.

Fantastic small restaurant. Visited with friends. Lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly and great service. Ordered 2 starters instead of a main meal. Food very tasty and presented well. Very impressed. BYOB, so walked across the street to the lidl for a bottle of wine. Recommend

Bring your own bottle. We visited on a Monday night & it was busy. Great atmosphere, food delicious. Tabouleh was not made the same way as my Lebanese Brother -in -Law makes it, his is with spring onion & mint. Theirs had white onion & no mint! We are unable to get any flat bread near us, so they gave... More

Visited this restaurant for lunch last week and have to say its the best middle eastern restaurant I have tried in Edinburgh. the restaurant offers a fantastic range of traditional Lebanese dishes. As I am of middle eastern decent myself, I was impressed with the quality and authenticity of the dishes, particularly the chicken shawarma and the range of Mezze... More

I recently visited this restaurant with my partner. We were delighted with the warm and friendly service. The atmosphere was perfect and I absolutely loved the music playing in the background. We ordered chicken wings for starters and they were delicious, spiced and cooked to perfection. Lamb chops were amazing. My partner is lamb chop obsessed and he thoroughly enjoyed... More

Excellent Lebanese food, great value and prompt service. I started with the Beirut salad, which was fresh and spicy, the chicken livers were excellent and main course mixed grill was also delicious. No hesitation in recommending this place, BYO, so bring some wine. Will definitely go back.

Saturday night and the Beirut is buzzing, not least because the food is so good and the prices so reasonable. (Bring your own wine.) One of us went for okra stew with lamb, the other for soujouk (a clutch of tiny Lebanese sausages with a bit of a kick). We left content, with a reminder of meals in Lebanon in... More

Being from North London where there are an abundance of Lebanese/Turkish and other Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern restaurants available and despite having tried many over the years, it is pleasing to say that this little gem in Edinburgh is simply outstanding in my humble opinion. The décor was spot on for the size of restaurant and audience being pitched to. Immediately after walking... More
