Just returned from a weekend in Edinburgh, visited this place based on the positive reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed! The extensive menu along with numerous specials were explained by enthusiastic staff who couldn't do enough for you without being intrusive. The food was expertly cooked (the ostrich and wild mushrooms in particular were fantastic), the wine list... More

A very varied menu - we tried a bit from each section - meat, fish, vegetables/omelettes and the specials board. Each dish was delicious and the zebra from the specials was an unusual treat. The service was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which combined with the colourful, informal decor and sharing aspect of tapas made for a fun,... More

What as great blend of Spanish & South African flavors. WE always look for tapas restaurants when traveling and we are so glad we found Indaba! We loved the service, food, drink and ambiance. Our server brought over the menu board and explained what the specials were and roughly how many we would need. The chicken & apricot skewers were... More

I love Tapas, and Indaba has blown all other offerings in Edinburgh out the water. From the small things, being instantly greeted at the door and our water glasses never ran dry to the delicious homely food. Their normal menu offers a great selection, however the specials board delighted our taste buds. Every dish went down a treat and I... More

I liked the wine, I like the space, I liked the service and most of all I liked all the tapas. It was simply really good, one of the best places I've ever visited (while not being posh or excessively expensive).

Really good honest food, well priced and with a diverse range of ingredients - including ideas from South America and South Africa!! wonderfully diverse. Ambience is excellent - casual, friendly environment where the focus is on the food and wine - which also has good variety and good pricing. Good for groups as well - very welcoming

Having lived around the corner from this cozy little restaurant a few years ago it was well overdue a re visit. It did not disappoint. The smallest touches such as water being delivered as soon as we had sat down really tied the whole experience together. The specials board boasted a plethora of diverse dishes to suppliment their exotic tapas... More

Had a delicious meal here on our first night in Edinburgh. just out from the centre of the city and quite a tiny restaurant so it would be advisable to book a table like we did and the food was superb and the portion sizes perfect i'd pay attention to their suggestion as to the amount of tapas dishes and...
