An unpretentious Tapas restaurant serving uncomplicated Tapas From Spain and South Africa. If you're looking for a luxurious experience based on whatever rating we have on Tripadvisor at present, we advise you to look elsewhere. Please note we have tried many times to get Tripadvisor to remove the Child Friendly tag from our listing they have not done this. Due to local licensing laws we are not permitted to allow children under 5 years of age as we have no changing facilities. Parties of Six or more will be required to pay a deposit of £10 per person on booking to secure the booking. This is due to repeated no-shows.

Great experience

Fantastic food & service. Would recommend this restaurant. We phoned at 6pm on Saturday to see if they could fit us in at 6.30 & we were lucky to get a table. Whilst there several people got turned away as no room so suggest booking as worth a visit.

Visited this great place a couple of weekends back with my partner when we visited Edinburgh. It was a really great experience. The service, food and drink was all absolutely fantastic. We had 5 dishes between us and it was the perfect amount. Drinks were very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was excellent. It's only a small place and clearly... More

Thanks for the great review. Glad 5 Tapas sufficed for you, some folk need more. Booking is encouraged, we may be closed or full up. More

My 15 year old daughter and I arrived at Indaba shortly after 5pm on Friday evening, without a reservation, and it was no problem to fit us in for a pre theatre meal. We are both vegetarian and were very impressed by the selection available and the quality of the food we were served. We enjoyed the complimentary bread and... More

Fantastic food here. Staff incredibly accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to all, particularly the chocolate fondant.

My partner and I have been regularly going to Indaba in the last two years - on average, once a month. I honestly cannot remember ever having a disappointing dish or experiencing a disappointing service there. We dine out vey often and this is the most consistent restaurant in terms of quality of food, freshness of the produce used and... More

This is the fourth time we've had dinner here before heading to the King's Theatre. There were 4 of us so had 10 dishes between us which is enough without feeling too full. We all opted for the trio of desserts which are delicious, especially the mini crying cake. The red wine was also excellent. Very good and friendly service.... More

The food is nice, however the Spanish food is not the greatest. I think is very expensive for such small pieces.

Not quite sure what to say. Going by your previous reviews, perhaps you're best sticking with Buffet and Pub Chains? More

I booked a table for 8 adults on a Friday night. Somehow there was no record of the booking. Feeling a bit annoyed and facing a packed reataurant I was really impressed when the owner re-organised the seating plan-including getting diners to move (thank you) and after a 15 min wait we were all seated at 1 table. The food... More

Thanks LindenScotland for the 5* review. Glad we managed to accommodate you, though still baffled that a booking for 8 escaped the Diary and table plan. This fortunately does not happen a lot, the last time we had this happen( long time ago) we got slated on here and the reviewer's normal review site. Snatched victory from the jaws of... More
