Fast food indian

We were served extremely fast. It is clear that all the food must be pre-prepared! Nevertheless we can not complain about the taste of it. It was nice, and good Service was also efficient and very friendly. Certainly recommended if you want your food fast!

Enjoyed the food here, quite a large restaurant and not too busy when we visited (Monday night). Had been closed due to the tram works which run by outside, but reopened now. Average pricing for the city, good portions and tasty food. I would go back again.

Our first day in Scotland. Our hotel was the Hilton Grossvenor. The restsurant is just around the corner. We dined together with friends. We had anice table. The food mostly is chicken and lamb and very hot and spicy. Take one meal for two persons, it is too much for one! We can not confirm some bad votes here and... More

We were there last night. The meat thali was bland and the flavors of the sauces did not penetrate the meat at all. It was clearly steamed chicken with various sauces ladled on top. My wife's vegetarian dish was so bland it could have been steamed frozen veggies from the supermarket. Very disappointing for 40 pounds.

Good food and service at a reasonable price. The portions were quite large so we only managed a main each.

This restaurant has a pretty upmarket feel about it. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We ate vegetarian, and the sag paneer was one of the best we have ever tasted. A good overall dining experience, we would definitely easy here again.

Excellent food, good value for money and excellent service. Clean inside - I would go again. Never seemed to be busy.

Arrived around 1630 and we were the 1st people in. We were met at the door by our waiter who gave us a great table for two at the window. Just as we were sitting down he offered to bring popadoms and sauces, they were great. We ordered our drinks, a carafe of House Rose and a Kingfisher lager. They... More

I chose to eat here on the basis of convenience and other reviews. The mixed kebab starter was OK and the service was pretty quick. However the main course of chicken jalfraizi was tasteless and the mixed vegetable side dish was predominantly tomato. The staff were quite attentive but I didn't have the confidence that they could offer a solution... More

Visited on Saturday evening - service was excellent, warm welcome upon arriving and attentive throughout. My partner had visited the restaurant previously and couldn't recommend the food more highly, he was right. I had chicken bhuna which was fantastic and the peshwari naan was the best i've ever tried! Thanks for a great dining experience, we look forward to returning... More

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theaters and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
