From the welcome on arrival, to the door being opened for me on leaving I have to say this was a great dining experience. The restaurant was relatively busy with what appeared to be a mix of families, couples and groups of all ethnicities. I settled on a half carafe of the house red along with a complimentary glass of... More

Went here with 5 other friends, service was brisk and efficient if not a little bit unfriendly. All the food was pretty good. I had a Lamb Dansak which was really very nice, juicy pieces of Lamb. Another lad had the same and was equally happy. Another of our group had a Lamb Bhuna which he said was braw. Another... More

Went for meal on a cold December Sunday night. Service was poor, food average, price was expensive. Not a patch on Ocean Road South Shields.

FOOD GOOD,NICE RESTAURANT BUT STAFF UNFRIENDLY. I was given my bill without asking for it which is unacceptable. It was not even busy! .TWO REASONS 1)It is rude and bad practice and in my case cost you 4 additional drinks and a tip 2) It has stopped my returning. TAKE THE ADVICE OR NOT ITS UP TO YOU.!!!

Honest review, I am Pakistani and have grown up on this cuisine. Ordered a takeaway. Food was warm, presented well but the taste was not authentic Punjabi/Indian as stated on the sign outside. Lack of salt and seriously lacked flavour. Who gives a sauce with a biryani?

I went with German friends who have been several times before. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night and we had to wait for a table. The food and the service were both very good.

I enjoyed a reasonable meal here a few weeks ago. The food is ok without being anything special and the service was reasonable. There are plenty Indian restaurants in the area which are better quality such as Ignite.
