Nice enough place but I think a bit expensive for what it is. The cakes looked like tarted up efforts from Costco,no bad thing in my opinion but certainly not home made.

If you have a sweet tooth or a special occasion or perhaps the children have some spare pockets money, this is well worth a browse. Old fashion sweetie jars hold a selection of goodies, in the display there are sugar mice and chocolate frogs to name a few. Special cakes for a special occasion, and great big lollipops. Best shortcake I've ever had! I'd die for some of the recipes! The shop itself looks like a childhood dream come true.

Every conceivable kind of chocolate product from muffins to lollipops to chocolate animals and even some non-chocolate options for anyone strange enough to not want chocolate! Perfectly placed near Holyrood Park as a treat to reward a climb up Arthur's Seat.

If like me, you wanted to impress a girl and get her chocolate gifts , this is the shop to get them! So many tasty, well crafted chocoates here that its very hard to pick what you want , so you then buy a lot of goodies. The girl I gave the present to, loved the chocolates so much we... More

This is a shop packed with tantalising atmosphere from floor to ceiling, with home made chocolates galore, more sweets than you could ever name, and prices that are so cheap for the quality and taste of food, making chocolatte unrivaled in confectionary excellence. An absolute MUST for all.

This cute wee place can lead to much unplanned chocolate consumption, due to the amazing choice and the very reasonable prices. Although this wee shop is extremely small and can get quite cramped, the range of sweets, chocolate, cakes and biscuits that they sell is simply extraordinary. I have tried quite a variety of the stuff in here and have... More

We saw a review for this and decided we had to go. It took us a while to find, but we are so glad we did. Not your ordinary, average sweet shop. A cake shop and sweet shop heaven. The products are not expensive either and tasted so yummy!!

It's like Willy Wonka's in there! So small, but so many treats!!-I have to restrain myself from buying too much at once, the value for money is so incredibly good it's hard not to be sucked into buying £20 worth. It's just got that feel about it, which gives you that security that the women behind the counter made everything... More

I went to Choco-Latte for the first time this weekend with some friends. I'd always been put off before by the dated décor. How wrong I was - this place is fantastic. It is small but packed full of goodies. Not just sweets it does cakes - traybakes and muffins mainly - as well as coffee. It's proper retro sweets... More
