Some of the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. My husband and I had been recommended to come and we were not disappointed. It is not the cheapest but I would say in presentation and flavour it triumphed.

Lovely food and friendly staff. We got two starters and three mains with rice and noodles. Everything was enjoyed! However I do feel it was slightly on the expensive side. The portions were not that big for the price. Dim sum starter £8 and comes with 4 small dim sums, my boyfriend got the ding (forgot the name but think... More

Really enjoyed the food here. It's a little bit different to your average Chinese and the quality of the food is very good. The waiter was really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. It is a little bit random but we all really enjoyed the evening.

Found this Chinese on google search, mainly great reviews so gave it a go. Very simple decor, small but not squashed area...food literally one of the nicest Chinese restaurants we have tasted. Would definitely recommend x

One of our favourite places to eat out in Edinburgh. The Ambiance and Staff are excellent, very polite and friendly, the decor does make you feel that you are in an exclusive restaurant. The food is amazing, everything is so tasty, good selection to choose from, it's a definite favourite, we can't wait until our next visit.

We arrived in Edinburgh and all we fancied was a nice Chinese takeaway, so used TripAdviser and found this. Although it's more expensive than other Chinese places we're used to it is so worth it. Honestly he nicest and highest quality Chinese takeaway we've had, now we can't have another without comparing them to here!

We had a table for three on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was extremely busy and yet the ambience felt relaxed and personal. The food was obviously freshly cooked to order from a menu that offered an individual take on Chinese classics. The portion size was good and we left feeling that the dining experience far surpassed any we had enjoyed... More

Visited this restaurant last month for a birthday dinner and it was lovely. Great decor with a nice romantic feel, complimentary prawn crackers and we had a lovely waiter. Food tasted excellent but I was shocked at how small the portions of rice are..especially seeing as you have to order them separately. They came in a tiny little white pot... More

Staying in New Town

Neighborhood Profile
New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town, until after dark when strappy dresses come out to play. This is the city’s central business district with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric squares, and self-important statues. But it’s also a very wanderable neighborhood, with a healthy bustle at almost any time of day and fine people-watching in places like St Andrew's Square which fills with picnickers around lunch. You’ll also find a series of cheerful basement bistros on Hanover Street, while dark Rose Street has something of the feel of an undiscovered back alley and is chock-full of characterful pubs and small independent shops.
