A family favourite of ours for over 20 years! The log fired pizzas are my favourite with the thin base. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an Italian. Great menu, great food, great service and great value for money!!!

Noisy, slow, next to no service, food was marginal at best, my personal meal was awful. I guess at least it wasn't expensive. Much better out there.

Cosy, intimate Italian restaurant in Edinburgh's "little Italy". The tell tale signs of a good restaurant are if it is relatively busy early in the week and if it is frequented by regulars. Both are evident for this restaurant. Having visited on 4 occassions over the last few weeks and tried different dishes, I can say that the food, service... More

It is twenty years since I first ate at this restaurant, and unfortunately that was also the last time however not because I didn't like it but rather due to the infrequency of my visits to Edinburgh. I loved it then and am glad to say it hasn't changed. The Atmosphere of this small intimate but fun filled restaurant has... More

Best pizza I've ever had anywhere. Other goodies on the menu include seafood, all inexpensive. Unpretentious.

After afternoon matinee at Playhouse Theatre to see 'Jersey Boys ' a slow five minute walk brings you to Jolly's. Although it was very busy 'Kojak ' got us a table, 5.30 on a Sat we were lucky without booking. The menu is extensive with both Italian and European fare, attentive staff soon had our drinks on table and food... More

A good Italian restaurant with one or two weaker points. They have packed in as many tables as possible so its very cramped. Also there isn't a great deal of room on the table (particularly if people have 14" pizzas!). However, the food is good. For a main course I'd recommend the half-and-half, that is half any pasta and half... More

This is one of the few times abroad when I had a really positive impression of an Italian restaurant. The food is simple and good, not pretentious, not overpriced. This is the typical restaurant you would have found in a small town in Italy, what we would have called a "trattoria". The people are extremely nice, polite and friendly. One... More
