We had lunch at the Wildfire and were positively surprised. Had traditional Haggis, salmon, crab sandwich and everything tasted nice! Recommend reservations as there are not too many tables!

I used to visit this restaurant 5 years ago when I was on business in Edinburgh. Was up for the festival and went again. Food and atmosphere still as good. Couldn't get in for dinner so went for lunch instead. Really good value. Two courses for £12 and both a decent size as well. As others have said, this is... More

Delicious meal in a lovely cosy little restaurant just behind Princes Street. Food great even if vegetables were perhaps a little undercooked (?) for our taste; attentive service too - many thanks. Do remember to book beforehand as this is a popular little place.

I came with my boyfriend for his 40th birthday, had to book for the next day as so busy, but very much worth the wait. The staff, the food and the atmosphere was superb!! I wish I could give it a 10. Would go back there whenever I could.

Me and my partner and group of friends have been to this restaurant twice now both at new year as staying for the two days during new year celebrations, We booked months in advance as we knew it would be hard to get a seat in here as the restaurant is only small,On both visits all of our party had... You may miss the small restaurant between all the others in Rose Street when you pass by - but it is worth a stop. Very nice small restaurant with very attentive staff. Food was excellent throughout all meals ordered.

We were very Lucky, since we just walked in for dinner. Cosy, friendly, and excellent food. Start to finish it made our first night in Edinburgh great! Put this one on your to do list. Enjoy.

Arrived 12.30 to a very warm welcome. We had the mussels for starter and them the seafood gratin. Great value for money and great ambience.

We went based on TA reviews and it didn't live up to the hype. The Lentil and Bacon soup was phenomenal but the steaks were swimming in butter to the point of being over saturated. Also, I think they mixed up our order. I was supposed to have a Medium Rare Sirloin but it looked like a Medium to Medium... More
