Cracking food, give it a go!

We ate here last Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great little restaurant, little being the operative word. Food is excellent, not the cheapest, but certainly excellent. Service very good too. They seem to have a reputation going on, so that when the town is busy you can't just wander in, as we found out. Worth a reservation though. Not the best for veggies, but if you are a carnivore,... We dined here on Tuesday night and I guess it was always going to be a bit of a let down after the previous night's food but open minded and wanting mussels and steak we ventured here. Good staff. Nice and welcoming. Small and quite intimate restaurant but without it feeling cramped. We both had the mussels to start. They... More

Who said British only knows fish and chips? This restaurant is totally amazing, I just couldn't help visiting them twice in 4 days, simple food simple cooking method great food, service is prefect too. Better make ur reservation cos I had seen they kicked walk in out even before 7pm, because foodie knows where to go! Just love it, thumb... More

Pros: Good enough service, pleasant, food good. Cons: Don't sit by the door unless you like sitting in a draft. For the audibly challenged, beware as there is nothing soft to absorb all the noise. Small and intimate. World's longest hand drier in the ladies. Claim to be able to cater for food allergies, but when it coame down to... More

It is my third times at wildfire the food is so good and the place is lovely. The only thing i was disappointed with about last night was the fact that i felt really rushed from the staff( the girls). The guys are really amazing and friendly but the two girls are not top class service and i am a... More

This place is a real jewel. It's small and intimate which makes it very romantic. The food and service were both excellent. We can't really say any more except don't pass it by, these guys got our top marks.....Thanks ☺

This is a lovely restaurant just off Princess Street. Recommend booking as its small but well worth a visit. The food was excellent ( we had pate, followed by cajun salmon and the special Angus casserole) it was reasonably priced for the standard and the staff were very attentive and friendly. would definitely return.

We were a late walk in on the night, after a boozy first afternoon of rugby weekend. Waitress was friendly and gave us a table. The restaurant is small, cosy and welcoming. The menu is varied and enticing. My partner had a haggis starter, while I opted for the mussels, and there was plenty of them, in a lovely creamy... More

Looking for somewhere nice to eat on holiday we trawled through trip advisor in the Rose Street area. There were several options, but we picked this restaurant and booked only 2 hours before. A very good restaurant with the family run feel. The menu had a good choice for all tastes and we both chose the cullen skink to start.............. More
