We really enjoyed this eclectic restaurant. We made reservations and were seated upstairs. The place was packed. Everyone was having a great time. Had noticed this restaurant during a visit to Grassmarket to visit my sister and booked a table a few days later. The restaurant is lovely with dimmed lighting and rustic French/Morroccan style decor. Service was quite attentive and the waitress friendly. Our table of three had a bottle of house white and a bottle of beer, which were fine and... More

I had the fish stew which was delicious and came with both fresh french bread and chilli bruschetta. All for a cost of £7.50 at lunchtime was amazing value.

I came here with my partner on a whims part of a romantic weekend in Edinburgh. I can truthfully say that I had one of the most wonderful nights of my life in this restaurant. Fair enough, my partner is amazing and they didn't supply him, but they did produce the most delicious food with fantastic service. I would definitely... More

We went for Lunch which was a set menu (Around £10.00 for 2 courses) This was amazing value. We had Mussels to start which were perfect and belly pork for main which was one of the best I have ever had! Only issue was the table we were sat in was a little dark but the overall restaurant itself was... More

After an incredible day of rugby my partner & I went here on recommendation from our hotel. It was full of Irish fans in great form celebrating our win. My partner opted for mussels and the lamb casseulot, I opted for house special calamari (spicy but lovely) and a fillet steak. Cooking is Marseilles/Algerian style so lots of spices, beans... More

We got a table on the off chance, my daughter-in law especially wanted a restaurant that served mussels but unfortunately they had run out of them. The haggis ball starter was very heavy and not at all crispy more like dumplings and they were not as hot as they should have been. Our mains were ok but not outstanding. We... More

The service was first class, as was the food. There is a relaxed feel to the place, starting with the small bar area. There is a good range of food, all of which was well presented and delicious. I would eaat there again if in the area.

We loved the atmosphere/ambiance of the restaurant. Very romantic. The food we ordered was delicious. The service was very good. Good menu choice. There was nothing we disliked. We would go back again.
