Nice vibes

Visited this place a couple times, never for food as it was always the starting point for a night out. What I can say is that it has a nice atmosphere, it is very 'faux' upmarket for Dundee as it is in a centralised area and has a pleasant ambiance to it. The staff are friendly and they have... read more

Visited this restaurant in December and had a very enjoyable breakfast/lunch with my wife and daughter. Nice choice of menu and food was well cooked when served. Staff was vere pleasant and we did not have too long to wait altho the restaurant was relatively busy. The decor has been recently refurbished and is very pleasant to the eye; much... More

Was in a group of 10 out for Christmas lunch and was very disappointed in the food and the service. The people serving did not seem to know what they were doing and the food was cold and the turkey dry. Could not recommend Braes.

25 of us went for our Christmas lunch and to be honest it was the worst meal I have had in a so called restaurant. Firstly they did not have a clue as to who had ordered what even though there was a comprehensive list on the tables. Secondly the meals took 3 hours from start to finish. I wish... More

Shocking Christmas dinner, starter cold (soup) hot main course (cold). They offered to take back my main course and microwave it! I ate it cold. Some in our party of approx 38 people refused to eat their main course. Complaints were pouring in. Some main courses on our table arrived fully 30 minutes after I had finished mine! In my... More

Went here a few weeks ago with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. Waited ages on our food and when mine came the chicken burger was stone cold - not even slightly warm. Sent it back and got another one which was slightly warmer (not hot), burnt and was so dry I struggled to eat it. Also everyone else had... More
