We had heard of this place through a friend and decided to.Give it a try. Wish we had sooner. Excellent environment for kids, amazing cakes and delicious food. The staff were fantastic. I will be visiting regularly until we have sampled everything on that menu!

This was my first visit and enjoyed it immensely. It is situated in a lovely setting overlooking the River Tay and it is an old house/mansion, so the large rooms give an old fashioned feel. The decor has a nice traditional tea room feel to it. Menu was varied and of a high quality and the cakes were home baked... More

We found it quite tricky to find this recommended restaurant in a garden centre that is accessed by an almost hidden single road in a residential area of Dundee. Believe your sat nav and if possible book ahead - it is seriously popular for good reason. We had a bit of a wait but the staff were very friendly and... More

We stumbled upon Jessie's by happenstance. Thank goodness! We went back everyday we were in the Queensferry area. The scones and clotted cream are above scale. The cakes, cookies and baked goods are so well thought out and prepared with artisan ingredients. Everything is fresh and the cafe is bright and cheerful. The fact that a farm store is attached... We go here all the time. Excellent sandwiches and the soup of the day is always tasty. Good selection of teas and cakes. Staff are very helpful and flexible if you would like to make small changes to your order. Good value for money and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here with friends. We had a table in the window with a beautiful view over Broughty Ferry towards the river. Excellent sandwiches, excellent coffee, excellent service. What else can I say?

Had lunch with my elderly grandmother, sister and 6 month old son. We were all well catered for,the staff are very efficient. Very friendly. The food is absolutely delicious...hard to leave room for cake, because the portions are very good, but I highly recommend a delectable delight from the cake cabinet. One of my favourite places to dine out

Managed to book same day through Facebook which was great! Called in for lunch. Service was very friendly and prompt! There is a kids' room for parents with young children which is great. However, we changed our mind and opted for the quieter dining room which for us was better (even with our 6 year old!). He was well looked... More

Went here for lunch for 4 and was not disappointed. We all had a starter or sandwich and added a mug of soup. The sandwiches came with a lovely salad and small portion of crisps and were excellent. Really soft bread and yummy fillings. The carrot and cauliflower soup was excellent too. We then had coffee and each had a... More
