We ate in the restaurant a few times during our trip back to the UK, excellent food and 1st class service at a reasonable price, would certainly recommend. Also stayed in the holiday cottage next door to the restaurant owned by the proprietor; again fantastic quality accommodation with beautiful views, can’t wait to come back, check out the restaurant website... good pub food with standard menu. I have eaten a few times In the downstairs bar however there is an option to eat in the restaurant upstairs where the cost is slightly more. Good, well stocked bar and meals are consistently good at a reasonable price. Always worth a visit

Shocking pun but excellent wee place. All a Ship Inn should be winter sun streaming in, view of the sea and good honest food. We'll be back to Broughty Ferry on the strength of this place alone.

Been here about five times in the past year and each visit gets better. The food is fantastic, the service is first class and the prices are very reasonable. Just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Now the fish in it and the scallops were cooked correctly but the tomato sauce it was in was very bland and spoiled what otherwise should have been an... More

Lovely family meal in cosy restaurant with great view overlooking the Tay. Friendly, efficient service and good standard of food with excellent choice from menu and specials. Particularly enjoyed the Fishermans Pot. The Chocolate slab was also very much appreciated. Highly recommended.
