Went here with my partner and his two friends, Friday night and we got a table no problem - this worried me slightly thinking they wouldn't be busy. But I was wrong! Quite busy, fantastic atmosphere and plenty of space! I had black pudding and poached egg to start and it was delicious! When I did put my head up... More

Visited for my boyfriends grans 75th birthday. We were given a room separate from the dining area. Baked camenbert starter was to die for... just don't think of the calories! Main meals are good pub grub.

I have been a regular customer since Mark and Susie reopened the Milton nearly five years ago. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is as close as you get to an English country pub. On sunny days the secluded garden tempts many customers outside . The selection of Real Ales and Whisky, complements the excellent food... More

Been a few times with the family and we are always treated to the same high standard of service and food every time. The choice on the menu is impressive with an equally impressive specials board. Food was excellent. Kids menu is great value and the “small” fish was massive. Only fault was that I had to watch my daughter... More

This was our second time eating here. This time being better than the first, and this first being brilliant! What to say..Very friendly welcoming staff, excellent service and amazing food in a relaxed environment. Very few places like this these delivering food that tastes as good as the menu sounds at reasonable prices.

This was a first visit for me and my girlfriend and it was superb. A genuinely warm welcome from the owner who was behind the bar set the tone. From there, service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. Nothing pretentious and probably the best pub menu I've ever seen, with something for everyone, in fact, several things for everyone! (I... More

I've been here a few times before with family and I've always had a great experience here. Lots to choose from and all very well priced too. The last time I came I had the fish & chips and the batter was perfectly cooked as was the fish. Chocolate mousse for pudding was absolutely gorgeous too!! Very polite and friendly... More

Took my partner for tea here on Friday night for two reasons. One is the quality of the food and two is that they have an extensive gluten-free menu. To say that we were happy with our food would be an understatement. I had the best fish and chips I have had in at least a year. Fresh, great batter,... More

Took my parents here on a Friday night on Easter weekend. My table booking was confirmed promptly by e-mail and food was excellent. Menu was enhanced by specials and the restaurant and bar well decorated with a lovely balcony area. Food excellent value and we were welocmed immediatedly by the young and enthusiastic staff. Every staff member we encountered was... More
