Fab food

Lovely restaurant, the service was a bit slow, but I think that the waiter was on his own and possibly new, because once we were seated it was fine. We popped in after a long morning at the Tayport car boot (spending our profit!!), the food was fab and we had the 3 courses for £9 (lunchtime deal... read more

We booked a table at this restaurant at 5.30pm on a Saturday night prior to meeting friends for drinks downstairs at 7. We booked before 6 as we had previously passed by and noticed that burgers and other items were only available until 6 on a Friday and Saturday night and we liked the sound of them. Upon arriving at... More

We arrived at lunch time without a booking but were lucky as their last table was just being cleaned. We were seated there quickly and given menus. We had service a few minutes later for drinks and all our questions about the menu were confidently answered. Our drinks arrived quickly and our order was taken. Slight adaptations to the food... Table wasn't ready in time for our booking , so had to wait . Portions very small . Paid £7 extra for what was meant to be a fillet steak. The supplement was eventually removed from bill after complaint. The whole meal was very disappointing . Will not be back.

There is a wide choice on the set lunch menu, and also additional choices if you prefer. There was 4 of us for Lunch and we all loved it. The quality and presentation of the food is excellent. Veggie choices are very good. The waiting staff were all friendly and helpful. The decor and atmosphere is good. And the prices... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local so I had high expectations. It wasn't that the food or service was bad - it was just average. Some portions were on the smallish side.

Iv been once before to bruach for the breakfast menu and looking at the restaurant you expect allot. Wether or not its because the chef hasnt woke up or the waiter is new to service. It shouldnt take 50minutes for breakfasts in the morning, and cold bacon, over poached eggs, slightly warm beans and a meal that was asked to... More

Went here for supper with the girls midweek. Really busy which was nice to see, and the bar and restaurant were buzzing. There was only 1 chap serving upstairs in the restaurant, but that didn't detract from excellent service. The food was really nice, but I agree with a previous review that the portion sizes could do with being increased... More

The service was poor, the food was OK if you are a sparrow as the portions were tiny. If you are hungry do not go here. I had finished the food in two minutes. The starter came without bread which we asked for. Then when it arrived there were only two small rolls between three of us. Had to wait... More
