The building itself was built to look like a railway station and even had a real railway carriage parked next door. It was lunchtime and not having been to Dundee before we drove along and spotted this interesting Resturant. Inside is decorated very tastefully, it was clean and airy with amazing views across the estuary and theTay bridge. The staff... More

Another great meal at the Bridgeview :) great flavours, textures and attention to detail with a modern style of presentation. Reasonably priced and a good menu for either lunch or dinner. Sometimes lacking in a bit of atmosphere, but then that is difficult due to the nature of the building. The Bridgeview is a definitely a must when visiting Dundee... More

I had smoked salmon and avocado starter which is the best thing I have ever tasted, followed by lamb with the most delicious goats cheese croquettes. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant.

This is a great find in Dundee. The location is fantastic, what a view. The food matches the location and the service from the staff is so helpful too. If you were hungry, you wouldn't be for long, the portions are huge!!! I have to give praise for the cleanliness of the toilet facilities and commend them on a very... More

I have had about 3 breakfasts & 3 Lunches during 2014 on way to hospital appointments. Food has always been very tasty & service is just right ;-) A good selection on the main menu, well worth a try ;-) The view over the River Tay & Tay Railway Bridge is Great

I've been here for both lunch and dinner. The soup and sandwiches are some of the best I've had. The soup options varies and I had carrot and star anise which was lovely! The sandwiches are on lovely thick bread and the filling options are plentiful. Great service too.

Lovely setting, friendly staff but very disappointed with food portions. All main meals £9.95. I would advise that you visit other cafes in Dundee and compare what is on offer for the same price. I would not recommend this café.

Hi Jacqueline, many thanks for your review....as per our email conversation I feel its important to tell our side of the story also. You mentioned this was your first time in our Restaurant and i think maybe where the confusion lies is you thought we served typical cafeteria cuisine. Bridgeview Station has built a solid reputation on the food it... More

We love to eat here in the evening - summer and winter the view is breathtaking. The food's not half bad too. I know the chef changes from time to time but the quality has never dropped. There is always something unusual and tasty on the menu as well as simple dishes if people prefer. You can go for a... More
