Nice wee cafe/restaurant

Meet my family here for lunch. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive, a real credit to this place. You would have a cracking view over the Tay...on a nice day! The food was good. All homemade and quality ingredients. Very filling! Perfect place for a family lunch.

My daughter booked a table for Sunday lunch. Greeted at the door and shown to our table. Service staff prompt and sociable, very knowledgable about the menu and combinations as add ons. The food was piping hot, beautifully presented and correct. The view across the river Tay is spectacular. I would recommend booking, I have been before and couldn't get... More

Having a son at uni in Dundee we have driven past the restaurant many times. Booked a table for lunch and arrived early but immediately seated. Food was good fresh produce. Desserts were amazing - sticky toffee pudding (didnt touch the sides for my teenagers) and Nutella Brioche pudding with coffee ice-cream was amazing. Staff were very nice and we... More

We'd driven past the Bridgeview many times whilst passing through Dundee, although had no idea what we had been missing! We had assumed it was a run-of-the-mill Toby Grill type of place......but little did we know! Such great quality tasty food an such an interesting menu. Really professional waiter - didn't catch his name, but he wouldn't be out of... More

This restaurant is run by people who care about food, and it shows. We used to go there for a cup of tea and a snack and to enjoy the view, but it has evolved considerably since then and you can have a really interesting meal now too, all at reasonable prices and with friendly and helpful service. I have... More

Although we have been to Dundee many times we never thought about visiting this restaurant as we thought it was just a take away (the "old-fashioned" railway carriage in front of the building is a take away but the restaurant behind is completely different). Luckily, it was recommended by friends and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal at very reasonable... More

Lovely food and a nice waitress. Good atmosphere and the view over the Tay, even covered in mist at sundown, was a very enjoyable and unexpected addition to the evening.
