So friendly, and beautifully presented food. Lovely decor. Comfortable coffee shop during the day or before the evening meal. A top class restaurant.

Lunch on a windy saturday. Great menu, delicious bread, first class service. Kids thought the hot chocolate was great and mum and gran enjoyed a glass of wine!!! Will be back for champagne cream tea.

Travelling back up to Glasgow we decided to stop at Moffat. Certainly not short of places to eat but having read numerous pub grub menus we luckily found Brodie's and thank goodness we did. Very calm interior, amazing food. Planing to go back for dinner one evening.

Met up with friends travelling north. We all had an excellent lunch. Good food and very friendly staff. When in the area again will certainly call in.

Just arrived home from a lovely Mothers Day dinner at Brodies. Couldn't fault it. From the minute we entered the restaurant until we left nothing was a problem. Excellent service and food. Very welcoming and great value for money.

What a wonderful 3-course Table d'hote menu was laid on for all the lucky mothers today. I'm not a mother, but was still treated :) . The smoked chicken starter was delicious. It's a while since I last tasted smoked chicken, something I used to enjoy, and it didn't disappoint at all. It was moist and tasty. This was followed... More

Second visit, here we always stop in Moffat on the way up to Edinburgh last time service was quite slow but everything went perfectly this time round. We went on a Thursday and opted for the steak night menu which comes with a bottled of wine. It had been pouring with rain and freezing on the walk to the restaurant,... More

Just minutes off the M74, we found this gem of a café/wine bar en route from Scotland to the Lake District. Excellent coffee, toasties and soup, in a very pleasant ambience with top-of-the-range customer service and value. We stopped on the way back too, and are now looking to include it on a cycle ride soon....
