Little treasure.

Last Sunday we had just been to Broughton House & were looking for somewhere to have lunch and came across Mulberries. It was very busy & we had to wait for about 5 minutes to get a table. Well worth the wait. We ordered toasted sandwiches, which came with salad, & shared a cream of broccoli... read more

We have visited a few times over a number of years, they will not make their fortune out of us but when we next visit we hope they are still there, good cafe food, a pleasant atmosphere and an owner with a dry sense of humour. Give it a try.

Decent coffee and tray bakes to eat ... The owner not particularly friendly - his rules/his house sort of guy. Notices all over the place. The most frustrating thing - great wifi signal - but signs on EVERY plug socket saying

Lovely burgers and a good selection of beef, chicken or veggie. There were beautiful homemade desserts too and you could BYOB ~ we had a lovely night and every table was booked so there was a good atmosphere. The owner Philip and his daughter are very helpful and accommodating ~ anytime I've been in post burger night with family they... More

Good local cafe with friendly staff. Sandwiches were lovely. Great touch that you got free refills on filter coffee and hot water for tea.

We attended and ordered salads which were fine but the amount of actual salad was small and was not value for money. On the other hand the milkshakes and coffee were good but the cakes we had were a little dry. We've had better. Nothing to write home about.

Had lunch here and the owner/waiter was a larger than life character. Suited us but some adjoining tables seemed a little non-plussed by his energy. Food was generous in portion although there were so many layers of nachos on my plate that the cheese below the top layer was not melted or even warm so hard work trying to finish... More

Stopped in for coffee and tea with our toddler. Service was excellent, and slice of tray bake very tasty. Owner chatted with us about local area as was our first visit to Kirkcudbright. Bonus for us were the facilities for kids, i.e. some toys and bathroom had changing etc.
