It would appear that this place is the place to eat in the area. Bit shocking really as I did not rate the place that highly. Limited selection of food and very disappointed by the lack of local produce. This is a fishing area and the menu has the smallest selection of fish, lobster and crab I have ever seen.... More

This place deserves its success - the restaurant was already fully booked for the Saturday and Sunday nights, but we waited for a table in the bar area, and were glad we had. Lovely traditional feel to the place, helpful an friendly staff, delicious food, and v good value for money

Always a reliable place to eat and nice to see interesting daily specials on the menu. Great sea trout with lobster risotto and a delightful orange verrine for dessert. Good to see British wine on the list too.

So it was natural that we should book it again for my birthday dinner last Saturday, but we were disappointed by... More

We visited here for the In-laws Ruby wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in Scotland. On arriving we were shown to a round table within a conservatory type part of the dining room. On the table was a card wishing the in-laws a happy anniversary ( a lovely touch ). We started by ordering some drinks, a round of Aperol Spritz... More
