Was driving through and this was the first eating place we saw where we parked. Never eaten in Alloa before. Good punctual service, food was pretty good. Its a bit like a Brewer Fayre set up. Prices are keen, so all round thumbs up from us!

Visited for the first time last night, food was plentiful and whilst we were expecting Wetherspoons type food, it was much better. Sharing platter was huge and the burgers delicious and with the drinks deal was a very reasonably priced meal. Service was ok, but a definite lack of staff on duty. We were visiting the area for one night,... More

Think they are trying to compete with new Wetherspoons in Alloa. Should have stuck with your previous menu was much better and more competitively priced. We struggled to get a light lunch.

I have been here many times over the years. But today was by far the worst I have ever had in it. Took forever for main meals to come. The burger I got had no taste to it at all. They used to have a bigger range on the menu but not alot on it now. Sadly wont be back

Came here with my husband for lunch. He waited a full 10 minutes at the bar waiting to place our order and drinks. There was only 2 staff on and 2 large tables so by the time they placed their order and got drinks for them all it was finally time for them to take our order. This is an... More

I Love eating out here as the food and the service is always first class. In all my visits here I have never had a complaint either about the food or the service. Even on a busy saturday evening the staff are always so happy looking and the service never falters

I live in the area, however don't usually eat out. I came here with a friend last week and have to say I was blown away by the service. All of the staff were smiling, you could tell they had great communication and all seemed happy to be working there. We had a lunchtime deal with a baguette and drink.... More

Out for a pub grub night? You will be well served here. Great food in excellent surroundings. Our 1st visit here although we live nearby. My wife and I were just strolling around the town when we came across this (what looks to be) recently renovated pub. Looks like part of the old Maclays brewers premises(?) with the original brickwork... More

Although i enjoy the Brewery's atmosphere for a drink, the food is severely lacking. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt the first time and returned. But i can safeley say i have never been fully satisfied with my meal. The service varies depending on the staff and i've recieved food with condiments on the plate/under chips which... More

A friend told me this place was worth a visit and I have to agree! I was in for a meal on a Friday night and stayed for a few drinks afterwards. The food was great and really good value. The staff were really friendly and helpful and all seemed happy to be at work. We ended up staying longer... More
