We have been visiting The Brewery for nearly 10 years now and have never had a disappointing meal. We wanted to try out the new menu we'd heard about so we went along last night. I was pleased to see that fish and chips is still available and as always the portion was definitely man-sized! The fish was fresh and... More

One we received our food we were offered condimentents. I had the fish and chips, and the fish was huge a very large portion for the price, the batter was light and crispy.... More

Visited last week with family. Cheery bar service. Ordered sharing platter which was good and served to us very quickly. Moving on to the main courses. 2 of us ordered the Cajun Chicken (Big Mistake).Meal arrived and looked extremely unappetising and tasted even worse and consisted of a bowl of mud coloured linguine with tiny pieces of chicken mixed through... Was driving through and this was the first eating place we saw where we parked. Never eaten in Alloa before. Good punctual service, food was pretty good. Its a bit like a Brewer Fayre set up. Prices are keen, so all round thumbs up from us!

Visited for the first time last night, food was plentiful and whilst we were expecting Wetherspoons type food, it was much better. Sharing platter was huge and the burgers delicious and with the drinks deal was a very reasonably priced meal. Service was ok, but a definite lack of staff on duty. We were visiting the area for one night,... More

Think they are trying to compete with new Wetherspoons in Alloa. Should have stuck with your previous menu was much better and more competitively priced. We struggled to get a light lunch.

I have been here many times over the years. But today was by far the worst I have ever had in it. Took forever for main meals to come. The burger I got had no taste to it at all. They used to have a bigger range on the menu but not alot on it now. Sadly wont be back

Came here with my husband for lunch. He waited a full 10 minutes at the bar waiting to place our order and drinks. There was only 2 staff on and 2 large tables so by the time they placed their order and got drinks for them all it was finally time for them to take our order. This is an... More
