Excellent 'fish and chip' shop but with extensive choice..can't say anything about other dishes as I find the traditional Scottish haddock and chips so good I give other offerings a miss. All cooking is done to order.. The sit in restaurant well patronised...no wonder!! Only downside is closing time about 9.30ish.

Came across this fish and chip shop with a small restaurant attached last time we visited Peebles, and had an inexpensive meal then. Revisited earlier this month and once again were not disappointed, the standard has not dropped. The meal was very good value (fish, chips mushy peas, pot of tea and bread all for £8.50) obviously freshly cooked to... More

Had a nice meal, you can sit in and get the works with bread and butter and a drink or choose to take away. The fish and fish cakes were great but the chips were a bit ordinary.

This must be one of the best fish and chip shop we have been to. We visited this place whilst staying at Craig Tara caravan site nearby. All freshly cooked to order, I had the mini cod and my husband had the medium, its a good job i had the mini as the medium was hanging over the place! I... More

If you're looking for swanky surroundings then this is not for you. But if you want good honest value in an old-style chippy then this is fine. Cramped tables, but then this is a chippy, and I've eaten at expensive places that are more cramped. Cheerful staff. Excellent value. Good quality food. Lots of locals seem to eat her; there's... Our chippy of choice in Peebles. Always serves lovely breaded fish and tasty chips which are crisp without being greasy.

This shop opened last year (nxt to co-op). Best fish in area and happy friendly staff who always entertain. Well done.

Always great fish and chips and good sized portions. They also have a cafe where you can sit in and enjoy a Scottish fish and chip supper.

Don't bother with any others - we've tried them all! This is an excellent chippy. Maybe not the vest in Scotland, but pretty good all the same. The fish always tender. It's tender, crispy, and lovely.
