Amazing

Sitting eating one of the fish and chips I've had in a while..the battery is to die for and the freshness of the fish bursts through. Excellent value and taste

Cooked fresh every time & tasty chips. Just be careful of the lass who likes to drown your box in brown sauce!

Finest fish and chip shop in the Borders, if not Scotland. One of the downsides of living in Scotland is that good fish & chip shops are few and far between, so when you find one on a par to the good English ones; you tend to stick to it. Jim Jacks is not what I would call local to... More

The fish suppers are made fresh right in front of you. Great chip shop sauce and pickles to buy. White pudding is also very tasty.

I can only speak for their fish and chips, however they are without doubt the best I've had in a long time. The fish is large, thick haddock and always cooked to order. Always tastes perfect and really fresh. Chips are dry and crispy Only complaint is that they don't stay open late enough. Highly recommended if in Peebles

We eat here regularly in the autumn and winter. Until Easter 2015 it was good, but no more. Since the summer, though, it has gone up a notch. The fish tea with mushy peas, tea, bread and butter is excellent value, always cooked well, with firm "meaty" fish.

Went here for lunch whilst on holiday with 2 friends. It was recommended by our coach driver. OMG what a stunning fish & chip meal we had. Home made chips, fish, mushy peas, bread and butter and a hot/cold drink for £6.55....great value for money
