Fantastic service and beautiful food. We had the room to ourselves and I especially loved the cosy decor :) I had the seabass for something lighter, it was delicious!

We had food here Saturday night, told it would be 45 min wait which quickly (or slowly) turned into 1 hour wait and just looked to be too busy for the staff to cope. Food when it eventually arrived was very good and ok priced, recommend the food but don't expect great service

Visited for a quick meal, because of its excellent location, just at the beggining of the High street. The restaurant itself is dark, felt like we walked into a dungeon. The tables are squized in, as much as possible, next table to us was less than a feet. Staff is ice-cold, not much feeling we where welcomed. Worked as a... More

Visited here recently, have to agree with some of the previous reviews the staff were a bit curt, but I couldn't find any fault with the food, we eat Indians regular and it was very tasty, the poppadoms were a bit overpriced but you also got big portions of mango chutney onion etc. It was a bit expensive but didn't... The food was ok - but the service wasn't great - they didn't really listen. And don't order the Papadums - total ripoff.

Having read the special menu offer, we went in and ordered a drink each, after they came we ordered the special only to be told "Oh No" it was Sunday only. NOWHERE was that advertised. But it got worse. Pappadums at around £1 which we were advised included two, had one!! The Chicken dish with a tomato flavour was tasty... More

The food is actually five star.. But really unfriendly staff. Even when I popped in to book it, I should have know as the man was acting bizarrely unwelcoming and "suspicious"? Very tasty but pricy when all was added up.

we visited this restaurant with friend on our first night in Peebles. Wondered why it wasn't busy at all. Took our order which they got wrong had vegetable pakora instead of chicken simple mistake. Had mains wasn't anything special, spilled a drink over my husband and friend didn't seemed to care about this and replaced a bottle of diet coke... More

Service very good as we were the only table in there. Food average and would not return as nothing to shout about. Prices inline with any other curry house. Staff not overly friendly but pleasant.

The entire experience was horrendous from start to finish. My partner and I were sat at a table and then left, after half an hour I had to go to the bar myself and ask if we could order drinks. We then waited another 10mins before someone took our order. Again a half an hour wait when our food did... More
