The entire experience was horrendous from start to finish. My partner and I were sat at a table and then left, after half an hour I had to go to the bar myself and ask if we could order drinks. We then waited another 10mins before someone took our order. Again a half an hour wait when our food did... More

I went here for dinner with my boyfriend and we had a three course meal. The food was absolutely faultless - so delicious and there was lots of it. The service was excellent - we were looked after and the server even suggest some dishes for me to try next time after he learned my tastes. It was quite expensive... More

We have eaten here on and off during our trips for the last ten years. We are huge fans of Indian and of our many spots across England and Scotland this is always our consistent favourite. The service is wonderful and the staff very helpful and courteous. All of the dishes are prepared fresh with great flavour and spiced as... More

My girlfriend and I recently visited peebles for a few nights and took a fancy for an Indian meal. This was the only choice for us and we were a bit put off becauae some of the reviews were bad, but I think some of these are very harsh and over the score. The service was great, nice atmosphere - although... More

We went for dinner on a Friday evening - the restuarant was very quiet. Some small problems with ordering - waiter didn't know what a spritzer was; OK, not an Indian drink but fairly standard in most pubs and restaurants - it did eventually arrive. Food was OK but overpriced in our opinion. Would not be at top of our... More

Tiny portions of very average food .£5.00 for 5 pieces of (mixed pakora ) my husband and I had 2 courses and one cider each and bill was nearly £50 . Dismal service and atmosphere probably the worst restaurant we have ever been to . Avoid!

We visited the Prince of India on a Saturday night and it was very busy but we managed to get a table by the window. The tables were extremely close together, so much so that it wasn't easy to have a conversation without the feeling that we were sharing it with the neighbouring table. The drinks were really slow to... More

Visited for first time this weekend. Place was very busy which is usually a good sign. We opted for a four course set price meal which would have been vfm however were charged over £5 for 3 poppadoms which we were not advised was separate. Drinks were expensive too, however the food was nice but portions obviously smaller due to... More

Good variety of food, with both starters and mains. Guys were helpful and efficient. We all had a well cooked and tasty meal.
