Price of rudeness

Be prepared for a long wait and terse waiters leaving a bad taste in the mouth. The food was acceptable with the exception of the nan breads which I would def not recommend. Puris were ok and mango lassi good. All 7 dishes were distinctly individual. Overpriced though and drinks were expensive.

We stopped here for an evening meal midweek. The restaurant was quiet and very well appointed. The food was very good, with a lot of flavour and a good choice of dishes. Staff were helpful. Overall a very pleasant dining experience

Nice restaurant. We went in just as they were about to close after lunchtime, however they were very welcoming and let us have lunch. Food was good and restaurant clean and tidy. Nice decor and well dressed waiters. Good value lunch menu.

Stopped off in Peebles for lunch and went to the Prince of India. There was a good choice of starters and of mains. The amounts were just right for lunch. The food was delicious and the nan bread perfect. There was a pudding too offered then coffee and tea. All of this for £7.95 pp. Great value and well worth... More

We live in Italy so it's always a treat to eat Indian when we are out of the country and we weren't disappointed. The variety of dishes on offer was varied and the service good. They were also especially attentive to the needs of my 95 year old father.

We visited recently for dinner and were very impressed with the meal. The trout dish was superb, a whole fish beautifully cooked. The chicken and vegetable dishes we chose were also excellent. Service was polite and a short delay was helpfully explained. The prices were reasonable and the quality very good. We would certainly return if we were back in... More

Dropped in for the Sunday meal deal , ordered food & drinks , food arrived fine ( however one of the waiters smelled heavily of tobacco smoke ). Both starter & mains were fine , however who the bill arrived we felt that the add ons ( poppadoms 1-75 each & 10-50 for two shandies ? )were a bit strong... More

We ordered a takeaway tonight as I don't keep so well and save me having to cook, ordered a set meal for two, the member of staff who took the order was as always extremely polite, I was told it would be a 40 minute wait but within 20 minutes we had our meal there is more than enough to... More
