We ordered a takeaway tonight as I don't keep so well and save me having to cook, ordered a set meal for two, the member of staff who took the order was as always extremely polite, I was told it would be a 40 minute wait but within 20 minutes we had our meal there is more than enough to... More

An enjoyable meal here. Could be improved by getting Kingfisher / Cobra on tap rather than bottle. Good they do a staff Handi - I didn't look much on the menu and just asked for this. Didn't even ask what type this was just ordered, ate and enjoyed.

We went here on 30th December for a meal. It was late (just before 11pm) when we arrived the food was lovely but the staff kept staring at me (41 year old female with black dress on). I then had to ask where the toilet was and they were all staring at me. It made me feel very intimidated and... More

2 curries, 2 soft drinks and 2 poppadoms with poor standard of chutney. £40 including small tip. Food fine, but too pricey for what we had.

Took my wife and Son for a birthday dinner. All i could hear was the cook hawking up flem and spitting in the kitchen. Totaly disgusting, put us of our food. The food was less than avarage , quite poor . The place has went right down hill. It was good 10 years ago, looks like they have lost intrest... More

A medium-sized group of us dropped in here on a quiet, mid-week night. The place was busy - always a good sign! It's a case of instant salivation as soon as you cross the threshold in to the restaurant and the food certainly lives up to the promises made by your nostrils. Service is prompt, the food is superb, and... More

Extensive menu of authentic Indian nosh from several states. Mouth watering chicken chat Spectacular madras lamb - nan and chai of original Indian flavour. Attentive professional service, immaculately kept Victorian-come-Indian-raj dining room. Flavourful, nuanced, satisfying. No wonder they have won the award for curry restaurant of the year in 2013.

Dropped in here with family members on Saturday night. We hadn't booked but they found a table for 4. Usually popadoms are complimentary when we go to an Indian restaurant but not here. The menu us extensive and expensive and at £14.95 for a bottle of wine that's just too much. The food was nice and the portions generous. The... More

Been here many times, spanning more than twenty years and it has kept up it's standard for serving a wide range of sub-continent food. In spite of a very busy (and noisy) clientelle, the service when we visited on a recent Saturday was efficient and the food delivered hot and werelatively quickly. Serving staff were patient - as they needed... More
