This was our second visit to this lovely bistro. The setting is just lovely and we saw 4 unusual types of bird in half an hour! The food is excellent and the service too, all done with a pleasant and helpful manner along with lovely smiles from the young staff. There is a good variety of light or heavier snacks/meals... More

Went with friends. Had lasagne but nothing like lasagne. Very clean and great views over river. Friends meal was good.

Great place for lunch, particularly recommend the home made scones, cakes etc. They also do great toasted sandwiches with great chips!

... if this is really the 3rd best restaurant in this town (according to the current Trip Advisor ratings). I note that the 2nd place restaurant is not open on a weekday evening and the 1st place restaurant was actually in the next village along, 5 miles away, so this was apparently the best restaurant available to us tonight. We... More

I met a friend here for coffee and it was so lovely we ended up staying for lunch! the menu is varied and our food was cooked to order. the view over the river was nice and the prices were very reasonable. We will certainly return - with more friends. Staff were friendly and the surroundings were fresh and clean.

We stopped for a coffee and a scone. The café was clean and the staff friendly and it was a nice scone. We sat at the window and watched the fish jumping in the river. A very relaxing break. The only negative was that the waitress split coffee in the saucer and went back and placed a napkin in the... More

Great bistro style restaurant with friendly staff. Dishes cooked by Sonia herself and great choice. If there is a better cooked steak in the town I have yet to discover it. Absolutely beautiful.

The entrance is not especially inviting and the outside area is just a little drab - but inside is fresh, bright and cheerful, and there is a good choice of interesting and freshly prepared food. Pasta dishes, toasties and baked potatoes with a wide choice of fillings, and a decent gluten-free choice too. Wonderful river views from the picture windows,... More

A little put off by the signage on the front but gave it a go. WOW, my bed was the best I'd slept in for a month (travelling) and breakfast was proper home cooked food. I would definately return there. A message to the owners - get the signs updated - you'll get thousands flocking in then.
