Nice seafood by the sea

Some friends and I went to this restaurant looking for a place with good seafood. The restaurant is clean and has lovely view of the sea as it is located in the harbour. I order the seafood platter (£20) which contains 3 Oysters, 4-5 boiled langoustines,1 cracked crab claw, plenty of mussels in... read more

Was very impressed. Lovely clean surroundings with super views of the harbour. Very nice staff who were not rushed despite the restaurant being packed. We wife doesn't eat fish, but nevertheless had a good option so I didn't feel bad tucking into a mixed seafood platter. Essential to book.

We went for lunch and what a lunch it was.The food was exceptional and very good value. The staff were very friendly and very attentive to the extent that while eating mussels an empty shell fell out of the bowl which was filling up and a waitress immediately came over to replace it with an empty bowl. The atmosphere was very... More

Was recommended to try this restaurant in 1998 by a friend. Travelled 800 miles to spend a week in Oban and eat at this delightful place. Eventually returned and set up home in Scotland and now experience fishy cuisine here on a regular basis. It can be a wee bit pricey but is well worth it. Probably the freshest fish... More

Fantastic fresh fish. Divine view of Oban harbour. Great service. Try the haddock and chips if you're a purist, but if you can afford it, the lobster is a dream.

Very busy at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. We had booked and were given a window table upstairs with great views over the bay. Service was quick and efficient. I had the salmon & prawn mornay and my partner had sea bass - both were delicious. We were delighted to see that the no children allowed after 6:45pm rule had... More

Had dinner recently and just had a wonderful evening. The food was great, good selection of wine, service was informal yet professional and slick. We had a window seat upstairs so had just the most amazing views which contributed to a fantastic experience.

A super fish restaurant with floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the harbour activities, and excellent fish. Thoroughly recommended.

We were recommended this fish restaurant during an overnight stay in Oban and it is well worth a visit. Everything about our evening was perfect and even the waitress dropping a block of wood onto our table causing glasses to be smashed didn't spoil our experience. The food is exceptional, beautifully presented and the manager and staff very attentive. Would... More
