The Kitchen Garden is a busy delicatessen and coffee shop. Our licensed coffee shop is located on a mezzanine floor which overlooks the delicatessen below. We offer freshly prepared, local, simple meals and can be busy during peak times. With regret we do not have lift access to the coffee shop but wheelchairs and buggies can be left in the deli, where the staff will keep an eye. Our deli is well stocked with several thousand lines from Scotland and beyond, with an emphasis on Scottish cheeses and whiskies.

Shelter from Gertrude and a friendly smile

Gooey macaroni cheese with grilled tomato, garlic bread, salad was real comfort food on a horrible Friday in Oban. Good selection of hot drinks and cakes - fruit cake was very good. Complemented by an interesting deli downstairs with a diverse range of meats, cheeses, drink and sweet options.

Visited The Kitchen Garden today for the first time and it won't be the last. Super Cafe upstairs with a wide selection of snacks and drinks and the Deli below has an amazing variety of goods to tempt you. Excellent Staff throughout, so worth a visit.

We only had coffee and cake in the cafe and it was lovely. You order at the till and then they bring it to your table. It's upstairs from the deli so not wheelchair or pram friendly. Plus the tables are quite close together so not a lot of room for restless kids. Also toilets are downstairs at the back... More

This was a real deli smells of different meats and cheeses such a massive selection plus they have a cafe on the next floor which served up really tasty light meals, the staff are brilliant and sooooooo clean,so while I waited for my lunch I went down stairs and bought Honey and Ham how good is that.

We often eat here when visiting the town as it provides excellent snacks and drinks. The tea and fruit scones are fabulous, although I have been tempted by their other options on many occasions. Soup is also a wonderful experience being home made and complimented by a hot home baked bread. This place is a must during any visit, but... More

Counter service with very friendly staff. Tasty easy to eat food that comes quickly and tastes very fresh. My partner especially enjoyed a very large slice of carrot cake.

My mum lives locally to here and took us the other day for a coffee stop! My mum and I ordered the courgette and sweetcorn soup and my husband ordered his new favourite of lorn sausage sandwich! All the food came piping hot and was delicious! Next time I'm up visiting I would definitely visit again

We visited with the family and wanted a quick brunch to sustain us through some Christmas shopping. Gorgeous home made soup and delicious fresh bread was hot and wholesome. Fabulous coffee in a lovely bright cafe on the mezzanine above the shop so you can see whats going on below. Wonderful to find high quality food products both for us... More
