Excellent food and drinks! Warm place with friendly staff, was given lager samples when I couldn't decide which one to have, which I though was a nice and professional touch. My partner and his sister had the catch of the day and had the ribs. Took us a while to decide where to dine in Oban and we were more... More

This is a nice little pub to either just have a drink, a snack or a meal. We went for a meal but I couldn't resist having nachos first. The nachos here are fantastic. Not only do they come with lots of jalapeno chillies but real fresh mozzarella - none of that crappy grated cheddar cheese - and good guacamole,... More

Was in Oban for 3 nights and when disappointed with our hotel food the 1st night decided to give the Lorne Bar a try. The pub allows dogs which was a bonus and does a good pint of Guinness and tasty pub food. We ate here for 2 nights and weren't disappointed with the food so can recommend this pub... More

We were happy to find this place. It's nice, big pub in a side street of Oban. The Food (burger and Fajita) were very tasty and good. Best of all - our Dog was welcome too! So rar to find in the Uk sad to say. We can only recommend this place.

We popped in for a drink and meal before the fireworks display in town. The pub itself is large and roomy but unfortunately there was only one ale on tap which was disappointing. The table we sat at was sticky and needed cleaning so we moved to another which wasn't much better. We ordered the sea bass special and the... More

Visited this establishment last week. We opted for Cullen Skink, Nachos, Cheese Burger & Hot Dog. Cullen Skink was worth the visit alone. The best I've ever tasted! There was a wee issue with one of the dishes being served with a sauce we specifically asked not to be included. However, thanks to some excellent customer service from Annie the... More

Went there with a friend for dinner and a few drinks. There's a great choice of food, incl. vegetarian. Lovely pub and the staff were all extremely helpful.

A must if you love old vintage style bars. Great ambience. Good food at a decent rate. Week days are a bit slow but weekends rock over here.
