Popped in for lunch today after hearing about this pub and we were not disappointed. Lovely barmaid. Menu is not extensive - but it is still winter - what was on it was fine. We chose Macaroni Cheese and it was excellent! They have a pub quiz on Wednesday evening, so we will definitely go along for that.

A rather interesting place. During the day it is a normal little boozer - with very reasonably priced drinks (try the skittle bomb). Not just tasty chips, the veggie burger was tasty as well. Washed down with Bitter & twisted blond beer. It was a shame that I didn't get a taste of the "Oban " malt whisky. I had wanted a taste before I bought a bottle. I got a "Tobermory " instead. Lovely.

Traumatised by the thunder and lightning, we sought sanctuary, and we found it. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was honest, fresh pub grub. The chickpea and spinach burger was surprisingly moist and tasty. A good pint and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!

Passing thru Oban for a few days and had another meal in the Lorne There is a new Winter Menu at £4 and £5 with all the Pub Favourites on it you could want at terrific prices - especially for families - probably to compete with Wetherspoons. We only wanted a quick Meal /snack Lunch and that was what we... More

Nice pub just off the main street, fair size bar, beer garden and good service. Oh..wouldn't recommend the mojito's though.
