With an address worthy of the late Tony Hancock one might be forgiven for feeling slightly apprehensive. Your fears are totally unfounded. It is located handily for the Railway, the Island Ferries and the major bus services and ideal for a fine meal before, or after, travelling. The restaurant is spacious with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very... More

The Italian dishes I had were of average quality, however prices are reasonable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and it was nice and warm on a cool evening. Service was good for our group of seven.

We were very pleasantly surprised, as when we went in the place was very quite, whilst Wetherspoons which is next door was buzzing. Oh boy are we glad that we stayed, we couldn't fault anything the service was excellent and the food was amazing. My steak was probably the best I have ever had and the flavour was beautiful. The... My husband & I were only spending one night in Oban & this restaurant was recommended by a work colleague. I'm glad it was. The restaurant itself is lovely & although it was quite quiet there was a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were most welcoming & friendly and there was a great choice of menu. Food was fresh & delicious... More

I ate here last week and was pretty impressed, nice restaurant and decent menu and it was reasonably busy for a Wednesday night. I had the seafood chowder to start which was excellent and had loads of fish/ shellfish in it. Main was a pepperoni pizza which was brilliant but so big I couldn't finish it. Great value for money... On a cold and windy day, my wife picked the Olive Garden, I was not so sure as it was completely empty and it was adjoining Weatherspoons, I thought it may be a bit pub grubbish. But the food and service was great, I had seafood, the wife had a great steak, no complaints at all.

My wife and I popped into this restaurant as the nearby fish restaurant was full and it was also recommended by a family member. It was therefore a pleasant surprise to find such an excellent range of choices on the menu with seafood featuring quite strongly. I chose the seafood risotto which was perfect, moist and full of seafood to... More

Their Sunday carvery is a must for £12.95 you can eat as much as you want. Their roast beef this Sunday with all the trimmings was so good I had seconds. Their table service was excellent and to see families with their kids all tucking in was just a reflection on how good this place is. Well recommended for a... More

We had a great meal in this smart restaurant. It is tucked away behind the South Pier and looks smaller than it is from outside, so do not be put off if it looks full as we almost were, there may still be a table for you. The menu was Italian/Mediterranean and the service friendly and efficient.
