We came here on recommendation of our guest house host, who told us it was a small gem. Well, not even a semi-precious stone is our verdict. The ambiance is rustic in a non-charming way, the food is served far to quickly and obviously comes out of the freezer and a quick dip in the frying oil. The scampi were... More

This is a small restaurant, tucked away just off Main St in Inveraray, but we had such a good dinner there! It appeared to be run by just two people, but it was efficient and hospitable, and the food was wonderful. They had broccoli, too -- just what I was hungry for, and not easy to find there. If we... I ate dinner here. The small family-run restaurant was well patronised, and for good reason. The food was tasty and the service highly attentive.

We were shocked to be told there would be a 50 pence surcharge for having decaffeinated tea as part of a cream tea. When I commented that the surcharge was excessive, I was told that I didn't do the shopping, the lady talking to us did! In retrospect, we should have walked out there and then but we will never... Visited this little gem for lunch, lovely warm welcome on a dreadful day. They were busy but we were served promptly and the food was delicious, tasty and hot, definately visit again.

Very small restaurant with a good choice. Hidden away from the main streets but recommended to us as 'somewhere the locals eat'. Cake and coffee deal and main course meal deals when we visited. Up-to-speed and accommodating re food allergies. Reasonable prices. Proper coffee.

Just the place to get out of the rain for a home cooked food. Loved the very cheesy lasagne AND the serve alcohols, if you want a wee dram to warm you up.

This is a fantastic wee place just off the Main Street. When you enter you feel as though you have just walked into someone’s front room. It’s very basic but very cosy. The two girls serving us were just so friendly and intentive to our needs to make sure everything was just right for me and my dad. They have... More
