We went for dinner on a rainy weekday evening - were the only ones in the place - but it was cozy and nice - you go down a few steps, there are maybe 9 tables, old stone walls - the modern pictures on the walls seemed out of place, would have preferred something more old fashioned and quaint -... Visited today for lunch. Looked at a few eating places but were unable to get a table. Found this place just off the Main Street and only a couple of tables were taken so thought we would give it a try. Friendly staff and nice wee seating area. However think it should be named a cafe and not a restaurant.... More

Nice wee place to go for lunch. Food was really good, all homemade. Thought prices were a little bit high but I do appreciate they get many tourists.

We called in for lunch on a damp Saturday in February. Everything we ordered was spot on - the fish & chips special with bread & tea, the burgers and the fantastic, home-cooked, rich gravy, huge pieces (of) steak pie with chips and lots of tea and Irn Bru. The sole waitress (owner?) immediately moved tables to accommodate our party... More

We went here for a light lunch over the Christmas period. It was a small, cozy cafe/resteraunt with very fair prices. The food was pretty much as you'd expect in terms of quality (the homemade coleslaw was particularly good) and it was piping hot and delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly, so we'll be back here again.

After an early start on our journey from Oban to Manchester we stopped off here for our breakfast and I'm very glad we did! Not fancy or glamourous - head to Loch Fyne for that - but just what my tired family needed. We had big Scottish breakfasts that set us up for the rest of the day that were... More

We found this place more by chance when a rain shower hit Inveraray. It is a small cozy restaurant, about 9 tables and great service! We had haddock and shrimps with chips - kind of a standard and it was well done an reasonable priced and included a coffee or pot of breakfast tea.
