A lovely late breakfast.

Stopped off here for a late breakfast on a journey to Fort William. We had a very warm welcome from one of the owners who continued with a very friendly conversation while we waited for our Scottish breakfast being cooked to order. The breakfasts when they arrived were not disapointing, they were... read more

This is a fantastic wee place just off the Main Street. When you enter you feel as though you have just walked into someone’s front room. It’s very basic but very cosy. The two girls serving us were just so friendly and intentive to our needs to make sure everything was just right for me and my dad. They have... More

Stopped in here for a snack and had some lovely home made soup. It's up a side alley near the art gallery with reasonably priced snacks and lunches

Warm reception, great food and good value for money. The place was quiet, but it was out of seson, just how we like it. Could not fault the food, so much of it, we did not order pudding.

Don't miss this gem as it it set back a little from the Main street at the top of the hill by the church square. You go down a few steps into a charming dining room where you will be served excellent food from an extensive menu and you will come away totally satisfied. They cater for many tastes and... More

Found this little place by chance on a day trip round and about Loch Fyne and Loch Lomond. Great home cooked food and lovely lady!. Small cafe was warm and welcoming. The menu choice was impressive and good value. Home made soup hit the spot. Thank you. Seek this place out if in the lovely town as its not obvious... More

What a lovely little cafe. Has stairs so not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. We had soup which was a hearty bowl filled to top and pipping hot. Followed by toasties with a side salad. Only cost us £11.90 for soup and toasties for two. Would have loved to eaten dinner here as they do a set 2/3 course meal... More

Had the misfortune to eat at the cottage restustant this evening. It's more of a cafe pretending to do dining. Curry was the blandest meal I've ever had and my daughter even left the chicken goujons(burnt!!) desert was brought n left on table whilst still eating main course and place was closed up round us. Clearly the staff wanted home... More
