Try the Veggie Haggis!

Tremendous veggie haggis! Quite good food, great views of the loch, and friendly staff. Plus, it's about the only place to eat in Appin. ;)

Good food in a lovely setting. A bit expensive. People were friendly and helpful. A clean and well cared for inn. Parking a little restricted.

We had been here two or three time before 2 years ago had 2 good meals and one bad so decided to give it ago under the new owners. So glad we did we shared a bowl of Cullen Skink which was excellent then had the Steak and ale pie again couldn't fault it. The staff were very welcoming and... More

We've visited here a few times over the years, but not since it's been taken over. Love the changes to the interior - much more cosy and inviting. We sat outside on huge veranda and enjoyed the weather and the stunning views from where it sits. We all had burgers, hubby had the Route 78 Burger, I had the blackened... More

We visited here three times during our self catering holiday as it was so good. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant attentive staff.

I can not fault this restaurant. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and the views were stunning. We found this little gem on our way from Oban to Fort William and made a plan to eat there on the way back and it far exceeded our expectations. The day was warm and sunny so after we had had dinner we... More

Well, I was a wee bit apprehensive eating here after the few bad experiences in the distant past, BUT, under the new ownership it has improved vastly and is now a lovely place to eat. It has always had a stunning location on Loch Creran, with views out to sea and a relaxing breeze blowing over the huge outdoor sitting... More

We had a lovely lunch here, we had visited in October 2014 when it was owned by another couple. The people who own it now are really hospitable and very welcoming as are the staff. The menu has changed a bit but still a great selection of food. There were 11 of us for lunch + 2 dogs.(2 border collies)... More

We've been here many times and enjoyed it, but the new owners have made improvements all round - the menu and a most comfortable living room suite to relax and chat over drinks/coffee. Eight of us did this very recently, four had cycled and four came ashore in a dinghy having moored one of the two moorings (no charge). Be... More
