Me and my husband recently visited the west coast of scotland to see relatives, whilst out in the car we called in for food, service was really good and the food was gorgeous, the views were so surreal, and apparantly this places has the best mussles around! ! Well worth the money!

Stopped here for a few drinks and ended up having an evening meal. The meal was very good, good portions and a good selection of meals as well. The outlook of this restaurant onto the Loch is nothing short of spectacular. The staff were great, very friendly and the service was excellent. A very pleasant place and experience.

Loved looking out over the Loch as we ate. Smaller portions were a nice touch. Wide menu with plenty of choice. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Ate here twice during our stay.

The service was good and friendly, and the owner-manager is very hospitable. The menu had various options, a regular menu and the chef's specials (17.00-20.30 if I remember correctly). We had the Scottish salmon fillet (from the specials) and it tasted great. Great place to grab a bite or a drink if you're driving by, or if you are staying... More

Visited 3 times in the last week. The welcome, food and service have all been excellent. No problem taking the dog as well as sections for kids, dogs and non dogs. Food is fresh and tasty with decent sized portions. Better than anything else found in a week in West of Scotland. Will visit again when next around the area.... More

Sun setting over the beautiful Loch Creran, a plate full of lovely local fayre and a well chosen wine. A price to be paid? Oh yes, but not as much as the view, pub, staff and food deserved....... I maybe regretting the last statement if the prices go up? Fabulous meal, with joyful and helpful staff in a stunning location.... More

We had been staying at Ardtorna luxury b+b nearby but they don't do dinner tho we had been treated to scones and snacks there so we came out for a light dinner. This place was the first we came to en route to the Pierhouse and the decking and smaller lighter menu tempted us! We were served by Jenny and... More

This restaurant has the best views! Especially on a sunny day you can sit on the terrace overlooking the water. Brilliant! Not unimportant, the food is really nice as well. Not that expensive, good portions and slightly different dishes that you normally find on menus. The mussels were absolutely great. Really fresh. And the sticky toffee pudding is a must!... More
