Good pub grub

Visited here as it's a beautiful location, affordable menu and generally just looked nice from the outside. We heard from our b&b owner that it may be under new management (?) and the place felt very new, although decor was all nicely done. I stopped off on my travels to Oban , purely to take a picture as the scenery was amazing. Popped in as it looks nice ( I think new owners and newly opened) . It was beautiful so ended up having a lovely dinner . Big comfy couches with a burner on . The staff are super friendly and I... More

Visited each night for dinner whilst staying 3 nights at Appin Holiday Homes. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. We tried different meals each night and have no complaints whatsoever about the food or prices; great fish, succulent steak pie and the burger (with haggis and black pudding) - wow what a combination ! We never tire of visiting this... More

I think the Creagan Inn has just reopened for the season - everything and everyone felt very 'new' and keen to be of service. The menu is pretty standard. Our dishes were very tasty and good value. Friendly service and great location. We'll be back!

We have just returned from a week in Appin and ate twice at the Creagan Inn. On both occasions the main course was great and the choices on the menu suited us well. We have two children who like straight forward, non-fancy dishes and both really enjoyed this place. The children's chicken nuggets are really good and the adults enjoyed... More

We were staying near the Inn and had heard a lot of good things. The location is perfect, the staff were great. Very friendly and efficient. The local beer and the guest ales were great. I just wanted a more adventurous menu. Where was the fish? Salads? A plate of mussels would have been perfect. I think this place could... More

Stopped in on my way to visit relative in Glen Coe Village, had lunch which was excellent. the steak in my peppered steak baguette was lovely and tender and sauce was scrummy. View was stunning even though it was slightly over cast. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we stopped in for a quick dinner on our way home... More

Was staying nearby for weekend and enjoyed first meal so much that went back few days later. Lovely menu and food with friendly service who were very attentive to our young kids. Lovely homemade food for kids and the crayons and map for children to draw the view outside was great to keep them occupied. The Creagan Lager was also... More

Great location, very good food and service and a lovely area of decking overlooking the sea loch for dining in good weather. Certainly recommended.
