First visit to the Sunday carvery - will definately not be the last.Good selection of roasts and accompaniments for main course, constantly topped up, struggled to decide what to have from the great selection of sweets. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Visited today for Carvery and was not disappointed, turkey moist & melted in the mouth, 2 courses and as much as you want for £11.95 is an absolute bargain. Desserts all looked lovely too, I had a massive portion of lemon meringue pie which was very tasty. Would definitely return here.

Had a great carvery meal on Sunday, lots of choice and the sweet trolley is not for those on a diet, second time here in two weeks and both meals beyond expectation, advisable to book as seems to be fully booked at 5pm anyway.

Dismal dark rooms with very poor food, simple things not done properly .... Cleaning of tables, undercooked or overcooked foods did not enjoy

I have been reticent in sending a review of the most awful meal I have ever eaten, and it is only after talking with the other recipients that I am writing. Three of the four starters were great, mine was Ok, chicken liver pate, served on what appeared to be a rusk of sorts, easier, one supposes than toast? Main... More

We were out for the day and found ourselves in Forfar. By chance we came across The Queen St. Tavern. The shared nachos were great .The portions huge. Followed with the curry of the day again tasty well presented and big portion. My wife had the Fish and chips which again ticked all the boxes. Nice lady serving the lounge,... More
