Quick Lunch

My wife and I had stayed in the town for a coup,e of days and we're looking for a quick lunch before starting our journey home, having waked last a couple of days before we thought we'd give Franco's a try and we were both glad we did. When we arrived the cafe was full so we took a table... read more

Nice friendly place to stop in and eat. We had lunch, macaroni and cheese, steak pie, leek soup, chicken tenders, all very good. Very nice waitress very personable. Would eat here again if in the area.

Food was lovely and filling. Waitresses would be better if they gave clients some time to decide on cake/pudding before asking again! Being asked 4 times in less than 10 minutes is rather irritating, hence we felt obliged to take away rather than overstay our welcome!

This nice cafe admittedly does not have a great deal of competition but is worth a visit for a very tasty bacon roll and coffee. There is a great selection of baking and the cheesecake is to be particularly recommended. Very friendly staff and excellent service. It is always busy with locals which is always a good recommenation.

I, Lord Berg have been a patron of Francos since it opened and I found no better place in the local vicinity to have an enjoyable lunch with my little sister, the food and prices are easy on the eye with a taste of the good mis enjoyable, the environment is welcoming and friendly which is down to the conscientious... I go into Francos every now and again and the food is fantastic can't fault it at all! I just feel that the staff attitudes sometimes is shocking half of them have their faces tripping them and the attitude when serving you is horrible made me feel uncomfortable! Make changes with that and would be 100%!

I've had the pleasure of eating here on a number of occasions, and I can honestly say that it does the best cheesecake in Angus, always a favourite with many delicious flavours and the the portion size, wow lets just say just have a coffee and cheesecake as you will be stuffed after that

Food is great and I would have given it a 5 if cheese scones, my favourite, were available! The staff are friendly and efficient.
