Went for dinner on recommendation of a colleague last night and first impressions were great. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Only 3 other tables in but all upstairs on the balcony level making it cosy and nicely busy feeling. Menu looked really nice - great selection with lots of different options. Slight shocked by the price with average main around £18-£22... More

I arranged to meet colleagues here for dinner. First time for me in this restaurant. I walked past first attempt to find it - it does not stand out from outside. Once in, I was taken by the style and atmosphere. Musa is very different, quirky as another reviewer wrote. Food was very good and is in the modern Scottish... More

Had two course lunch at Musa recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Opted for the black pudding and haggis spring roll then smoked haddock main. Food very well presented and tasty, liked the idea of beer recommendations with some courses, especially since it is Brewdog beers. Did not have dessert but will definently come back to try some more of menu... More

Saturday night at 7.15pm and the restaurant was busy with a singer playing bluesy music accompanied by a guy on guitar. The atmosphere in this lovely and quirky restaurant was just right and service and food were as well. Attentive staff and superb food washed down with drinks from a varied list of great wines, great beers and legendary whiskies.... More

Visted Musa with my partner during the week after mixed reviews we thought we would give it a bash. I had a fish cake for starter.. yes one small fish cake was served with a sploosh of home made ketchup, the fish cake again was OK not really much to say about it, for a main I had the fillet... Food was excellent and Scottish delights were presented smoothly enough for a foreigner to dare to try them out. I liked especially the haggis and black pudding spring rolls. Very tasty! My companion went for Skullen Skink and enjoyed it. Mains were good too and I always love the sticky toffee pudding!

The restaurant is not what you think when you walk in but once you are seated and the service is very good you start to relax even when the music is on. We have been a couple of times and sat downstairs and I do prefer it there. Food can sometimes be a little weird but that's the great thing... More

We went with friends and this was the first visit for a couple of years. It was great having the high quality entertainment as well as good food and excellent service. The food was good though not exceptional but the service was very good, just the right mix of attentiveness and knowledge.

I called in early for dinner on Halloween, expecting that there'd be a problem with getting a table. Not so - the people were very welcoming, and when I mentioned that I preferred vegan options they mentioned that they were hosting the 70th anniversary dinner of the Aberdeen Vegan Society the following night. Based on my experience the members of... More
