Very tasty dimsum

Recently ate here for my very elderly mother's birthday, we all like dimsum so went at Sunday lunchtime. We all enjoyed our meal very much, especially my mother who is able to nibble and get exactly the amount of food she fancies. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also this is a very... read more

We popped in here as my visiting Chinese friends wanted some Chinese food. I haven't been for ages but the food was absolutely delicious. All the meals went down well and I'm sure we'll visit again before my friends leave. Food wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for. I've been visiting for over 20 years and I've never... More

Last visited the Yangtse Restaurant back in 2000, its had a little refurbishment, nothing major I am glad to say. Food and service just as good as ever, 7 of us turned up on Saturday afternoon, no problem with a table and food came out nice and quick. Portions a little bit smaller than they used to be, but just... More

I was in Aberdeen for a long weekend and relied on the ratings and reviews on TripAdvisor to find a Chinese restaurant. This one was rated highly, but I have no idea why as I was very disappointed. 1. The waiter could not pour wine and a lot of it ended up on the table. 2. I ordered the Dim... More

Been to this places many times and it surprises me each time we go there for some comfort food. And I realize there are 2 different menus, one is rather westernized Chinese cuisine menu and another is authentic Chinese cuisine menu. We tried both and still prefer the authentic Chinese menu. If you're looking for comforting authentic Asian food,we recommend:... More

It's now the New Yangtze I think. It has been through a few owners and the quality of food had suffered along the way. However, the food of late has been quite good and tasty. We always like our dim sum lunch plus one or two other dishes. The service has always been friendly enough and the prices comparable to... More

Been coming here since I was a teenager, now I come in with my teenage family, tho this place has changed management a few times it's still nice to see some old faces now & then ,the food never changes,Mongolian lamb to start followed by sizzling beef in black bean sauce is my favourite.

We've been here a few times as a family now (6 people) and it has always been a great hit with all of us! The staff are lovely and friendly and make great recommendations if your spoilt for choice by the menu.

This is a hidden gem in Aberdeen. You wouldn't think anything of it from the exterior. Nor the interior to be fair. It's unremarkable in appearance but you are there for the food and this delivers bug time. I have eaten here on many occasions and without fail the food is delicious. My personal favourite is the dim sum which... More

Nice chinese food selection. Very impressed with the Lemon Chicken, will be back soon! A bit overpriced for being a chinese but I guess you pay for location and service which is good
