So, I've been here twice. The first time, the food was great, the menu was good, my partner and I had the dim sum platter, beef hofun noodles and also slow cooked pork with salted cabbage. It was beautiful. The pork was so succulent and tasty. Sadly, after revisiting, we were disappointed. We just missed out on dim sum so... More

We entered the restaurant and it was quiet, we were eventually shown to the table . The wine per glass was like vinagerette. We ordered but we were quite sure the waitress did not understand the order. The starter came the chicken skewers were not cooked right through. The main course came eventually needless to say it was not what... More

After reading some of the reports on trip advisor was not expecting much but everything was superb. Ambience nice and staff very attentive and friendly throughout the service. I started with the hot and sour soup and I can truthfully say this was the best soup I have ever tasted anywhere. My wife, miss fusspot where food is concerned, described... More

We've been here a few years ago and the food was ok then, but it's not very good now. The food was lacking in any flavour and my main course was covered in a clear sticky film of tasteless gloop which really put me off eating it so i left most of it. As it cooled it became of bit... More

Apparently the first and oldest chinese restaurant in Aberdeen. They have a wide selection of ala carte dishes - you have to go for the chinese menu (with chinese words) because they do quite an authentic selection of dishes. My favourite is their pork chops (otherwise pronounced as "Keng Toh Chu Pa") and their stuffed bean curd (otherwise pronounced as... More

We decided to go for a meal before attending a function. Looking on the internet, we found the Yangtze and thought we'd give it a try - turned out to be a really good decision. We hadn't booked but were seated promptly and the waiting staff could hardly have been more attentive. The menu was expansive and it was very... More

They serve a lovely selection of dim sum for lunch, the xo pan fried turnip is delicious. The deep fried prawn salad dumpling is a must have. Dinner is everything except dim sum items. Lovely food, attentive staff, relaxed ambience. Definitely returning.
