We've been here a few years ago and the food was ok then, but it's not very good now. The food was lacking in any flavour and my main course was covered in a clear sticky film of tasteless gloop which really put me off eating it so i left most of it. As it cooled it became of bit... More

Whilst in the area I have visited this restaurant every time , but this is the worst food I have ever tasted , it was bland and of very poor quality, the staff were more interested in feeding themselves than their customers, half way through our meal all the staff sat down and started eating leaving us waiting for our... Apparently the first and oldest chinese restaurant in Aberdeen. They have a wide selection of ala carte dishes - you have to go for the chinese menu (with chinese words) because they do quite an authentic selection of dishes. My favourite is their pork chops (otherwise pronounced as "Keng Toh Chu Pa") and their stuffed bean curd (otherwise pronounced as... More

We go here often it is an excellent Chinese Restaurant. We have the mixed starter for four, soup and lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the scallops dish . There are always a lot of people eating, which is always a good sign . I would recommend everyone to go here. The owners and staff are very attentive.

We decided to go for a meal before attending a function. Looking on the internet, we found the Yangtze and thought we'd give it a try - turned out to be a really good decision. We hadn't booked but were seated promptly and the waiting staff could hardly have been more attentive. The menu was expansive and it was very... More

They serve a lovely selection of dim sum for lunch, the xo pan fried turnip is delicious. The deep fried prawn salad dumpling is a must have. Dinner is everything except dim sum items. Lovely food, attentive staff, relaxed ambience. Definitely returning.

Came across this restaurant with my husband while walking through the city. Decided to stay because they offered Sizzling Beef - one of my favourites. The food did not disappoint. Their fried rice is even fried with soy sauce - not just boiled rice with veges. We've revisited at least once a week from that first trip!

I've been eating here for a couple times for dinners and lunches. The food is absolutely fantastic! It's the most accurate Southeast Asian taste you can find here. I read a few reviews here on trip advisor about Yangtze,my recommendation is: If you're not ready for true Asian food but modified westernized Chinese food, perhaps you come to the wrong... More
