We have lunched here before, and always enjoyed it and usually at 12.15 the place is mobbed, but this time it was nearly empty. We had the soup and sandwich combo which is good value. I had the split pea and herself had beetroot and tomato which she declared excellent. We both had the Brie sandwich with caramelised onions-delicious. The staff... More

too many small issues to rate this higher. Six of us turned up for a late lunch. The table we got had not been cleared and when it was the girl did not wipe it down. The design of the table meant a groove in the middle was full of food debris! We waited a long time for our food... More

Dropped in on a Saturday morning around 11.30am with husband, daughter and granddaughter after my granddaughter's swimming lesson for coffee. The grown ups all wanted fruit scones but they only had one left, the other option was a cheese scone so we settled for 1 fruit scone, 1 cheese scone and 1 muffin. My granddaughter likes her bacon buttie after... More

I was visiting friends in Aberdeen and we went to the Coffee House for lunch. I must say it was a very pleasant time we spent there! Exceptionally good food and very friendly staff, bigger tables so we all could enjoy great food and each others' company.

I was in there yesterday and can't complain the service was good and the coffee was better. i did ask for a plain sandwich but got it full of salad but that might be down to my strong island accent. The food was very nice and the service was quick since they were filled out the door and there was... More

Good place for decent coffee and cakes in the centre of Aberdeen. Staff very pleasant but could be more efficient - better staff training needed eg not getting the prices right, one girl taking 4 attempts/journeys to bring 2 coffees and cakes - how hard can it be? lol. One of my favourite places for coffee all the same.

I've been here twice and thought it was a pleasant place to have a coffee and to sample the homebaking which is delicious. However the service was very slow on both occasions, and on the second visit part of our order didn't arrive until we queried it, and the coffee wasn't very hot Perhaps this explains in part why it... Took my girlfriend here for both our first time yesterday. We just loved every second of it. The Latte and cakes were outstanding, could not fault them. Inside was lovely, warm and very spacious. I will be back for more delicious coffee and cake soon. By far the best wee cafe in Town. Thanks.

As any visitor will soon find out if you are a coffee hound then Aberdeen may make you struggle for your daily fix. However this relatively new venture tucked behind the Union Street shops just off Belmont Street could be your answer for decent coffee homemade cakes large sandwiches and soup. Care is taken with the ingredients and its laid... More

I've visited The Coffee House twice this week and have been equally impressed on both occasions! Had a chance to sample two different kinds of their freshly made soups and sandwiches and everything was really fresh and tasty. On my first visit the service was really quick and on the second visit despite the fact the cafe was short-staffed and... More
