We are an independent lunchtime destination serving well priced freshly made soup and sandwiches from same day baked organic bread using local ingredients and quality ingredients where the filling is not local. Our soups are made on the premises same day as are all our cakes. Our coffee is roasted locally (one street away) and we don't use preservatives. We aim to provide quality and taste with a smile. Do come try us. We look forward to seeing you. The Coffee House Team.

Love this place!

Very cute inside and serves great food. I'm gluten intolerant and they serve gluten free bread as well as a selection of gluten free cakes. They give large servings of cake and the Victoria sponge is especially good! Can also give sandwiches and salad to take away if needed.

A quaint coffee shop located just off the bustling Union Street down a cobbled side street. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Sandwiches, soups and cakes seem to be the main things on offer. They are all home made and really very good. We only visited for a coffee and cake but really would have liked to visit again to sample... More

Visited Aberdeen for few days to meet my friend working in Aberdeen. We spend much time in this cozy cafe catching up. The cakes are tasty and the coffee is superb! Good selection of tasty salads and creamy soups. Friendly Staff :-) estoy agradecida!

I'd used this coffee house a fair bit in the past as Aberdeen city centre is a bit devoid of decent independent coffee places. The coffee isn't stunning but the location is convenient. Prices have always been high but I've just gone with it for convenience, but today made me think about looking elsewhere. I went in to meet a... More

I was here at lunchtime on a Sunday. It's busy, but there was still room on a bright, busy day. I had an excellent and filling sandwich which came with a hearty, fresh salad. There is a decent sized menu to choose from with good vegetarian options and a choice of breads. The café is licensed with a good selection... More

I have been to this place a few times and every time it was really busy. I don't mind busy places but the staff isn't handling very well and they seem to be confused about tables. I think the place would be way better with waiting service instead of this "Starbucks" style. I like the food there but the atmosphere... More

A high quality independent coffee shop in Aberdeen, with good coffee, sandwiches and bakes. It's complemented in the Belmont St area by Cup and Books and Beans too - so no excuse for you to be seen in Starbucks!

It is a weird anomaly about Aberdeen city centre: it has very few decent cafes in the city centre. It has the usual featureless chains like Costa's and Starbucks but no independent cafes. Until The Coffee House. At last, Aberdonians have a high quality cafe with pleasant staff, wifi, plenty seating and tables (although as it gets increasingly more popular... More

Coffee House is a vibrant and busy venue which had a lovely atmosphere. Hot chocolate amazing and sandwiches lovely. Gluten free bread good. Good choice of food and cakes looked divine. Hoping to go back and sample these.
