Excellent value lunch

Had the 2 course table d'hôte lunch at £12.95 each. Excellent value given the quality of the food. Mussels and lamb terrine for starters, then confit duck leg and navarin of lamb for main courses. Lovely food. Service was very good too. Will certainly be back again.

Well presented quality food with good service levels although we did have to ask for water at the table.

Given a table for lunch right next to the fire. The food was well presented and beautifully cooked. The establishment was almost empty, but it was a midweek lunchtime. This did not take away from the ambience. Reasonably priced as well.

This is a slightly overdue review but I really wanted to share how amazing this restaurant is. As I live in Aberdeen for work my family has come up from Edinburgh on my birthday and this is always the restaurant I have chosen (and would choose again) Firstly the food is wonderful, fresh authentic French food. Every member of my... More

Never had a table booked but managed to be seated straight away, wasn't busy for a Friday night. Lovely restaurant inside very cosy. Hidden little gem, I've walked on windmill brae many times and never noticed this restaurant. The wine was great, and the mussels for a starter was the best I've had. The duck for the main was sensational,... More

Another excellent meal here. We were saying farewell to a colleague and this made for a wonderful celebration. Food was outstanding and service very friendly. Can thoroughly recommend.

Visited Cafe Boheme with my husband on a busy Saturday evening. Food and wine was outstanding and the service was very good. We did wait for our main course a wee bit longer than we would normally like but the atmosphere in the restaurant was so good we didn't really mind. A member of staff was unhappy we had to... More

We had the set menu which is excellent value for money. I had the goats cheese bonbons followed by the Toulouse sausage and finished with chocolat financier. My wife had the pheasant followed by the duck and creme brulee to round it off. Food quality, taste and presentation was excellent. The red wine was exsquisite. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. We came early on Saturday evening and had the set menu. Both of us were disappointed by our mains. Altho I was more so. I ordered my steak rare- as I always do in restaurants and expected it to be rare. It was medium- well done and only very slightly pink in the middle. The chap who served me however... More
