Food average, excellent service, really expensive

Having never had French food before, I don't know how close this is to it. The food was good but not amazing. We had duck confit and seabass and pistachio creme brûlée. Go at lunchtime or early dinner (6-6:45pm) to try the cheaper menu as the portion size is the same as the much more expensive... read more

If you want to go to a french restaurant in Aberdeen, go here! The staff are almost all french, and have excellent knowledge of the menu. The wine menu is very, very extensive, with choices to suit all palates and budgets. The food is always interesting, incorporating twists onto french classics. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and ever so slightly... More

We went for a team meal and the staff were polite and the service prompt. The atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the specials of the day. The starter and dessert was ok but the main meal ( pheasant ) was on the dry side with little flavour. If I am to visit again, I will stick to a fish main... More

I went here with my boyfriend & his family for a small celebration meal. It was actually the first time I’ve been to a French restaurant and I loved it! The restaurant has such an authentic, warm atmosphere. For starter, I had the goats’ cheese fondue which was delicious! It was crusty bread topped with a good helping of melted... More

My wife and I had been given a voucher for Cafe Boheme as a wedding present. My previous experiences had been for my works Christmas lunches and was always impressed (albeit I never got round to writing a review at that time). However, upon arrival we were warming welcomed by Dominque and his attentive staff. The split level layout inside... More

First visit to Cafe Boheme in a number of years, but will certainly be back in a couple of months if not sooner. Our party of six were welcomed on entry to the restaurant by friendly staff. Escorted to our table and coats and jackets taken. The restaurant was cosy and comfortable on a wet cold January evening. Menus distributed,... More

I am always impressed by the quality and value of the food on offer here, and it is my number one choice for special occasions with my partner. I'm a huge fan of the pate, and the steaks are always cooked to perfection.
