Have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. Service is of a high standard and the food is very tasty. Large portions of all the dishes I would recommend sharing the rice and Nan breads between at least two otherwise you will end up with a lot of leftovers. If you like Indian I would recommend going here.... More

While visiting Aberdeen I enjoyed a nice meal here with some friends. The restaurant decor is a bit dated and bland but the food is very good. Service was quite good and they were very attentive. I would definitely go back.

This place is AWESOME. Delicious and very well treated by all the staff who were very accommodating! The naans are so so delicious and also a great size, we were going to order two but were persuaded to get just one and that was plenty! Yes it is a little pricey but definitely worth it! Go here if you really... More

This is the 5th time we have dined here and once again the experience was first class. Warm welcome, fantastic food and excellent service from the waiters. Best Indian restaurant in Aberdeen by a mile. Thanks again

Pleasant, clean surroundings with a good atmosphere. Waiters were all very nice and attentive. Meal was very good. I am vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. I stuck to my usual unadventurous Vegetable Korma and boiled rice it was lovely. I also had Peshwari naan (fruit) which tasted so nice. I was with 3 others... More

Visited the Jewel in the Crown after recommendations from friends. The good points were:- good service, naan bread was nice, tasty starter king prawn puri... Bad points were: sickly sweet king prawn tikka masala, awful tasting chicken with spinach dish, dried out lamb kebab & sickly sweet chicken tikka masala. £155 for 5 people 3 of whom had tap water....... Food was okay, but I found it quite oily and heavy. The Jewel in the Crown is a fairly standard curry house in terms of decor, atmosphere and menu. You could certainly do worse, but you could also do better.
