Outstanding experience

I visited the Exchange last night (27/03/15) with 5 friends and we had an amazing time. My friend and I enjoyed piña coladas at the bar while we waited on the other girls and they were absolutely delicious. The host was very polite and welcoming and we were seated in no time at all. Not too often could you say that you are in one particular restaurant once a week, but in the case of the Exchange, it's hard not to. Everything on the menu is fabulous, however I would recommend the Chilli Chicken and the fillet stack. Can be quite busy and booking is only possible for large groups so you may have... More

My wife and i arrived early on Friday evening. The place had a reasonable crowd and is well set out. We were taken to a nice seat to the left of the bar without any waiting. We had our drinks order taken and left with our menu. From here things went downhill. A different waitress to the one that had... More

The food is good, but over-priced, and the waiting time is horrendously slow. Another annoying factor is not being able to book a table unless you are booking for a party of twelve. Not everyone wants to sit at the bar for an hour or more, waiting on a table to become free. It certainly wouldn't be my first choice... More

The food is good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. However the service is very slow, so expect to wait for service.

Have eaten here on numerous occasions and have always had an excellent meal. Food is good quality and always cooked to perfection and well presented. Staff are friendly. Down side is not being able to book in advance, can result in an hour wait at busy times. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants in Derry but well worth it.

Had dinner with three others last night. Ordered top of the menu surf and turf. Beautiful piece of meat but dismal surf. Four small shrimp which did not warrant the price. Two of my companions had sirloin steak which looked and tasted excellent. The atmosphere was vibrant and the service was excellent. I would definitely go back as all in... More

The Exchange is one of those places it is nice to visit if you fancy a break away from cooking. With its wide variety on the menu you will always find something that you would like. Food and service both good.
