Regularly go for Sunday lunch and I have to say this is by far the best restaurant in Derry and the surrounding areas and unbelievable value for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend!

My husband and I started our evening with 2 glasses of champagne in the 'Lounge'. The décor is truly lacking in what one would expect from a Champagne Lounge and the price being paid for our drinks. Whilst some of the sofas are tasteful, the curtains, lights and other accessories really let down what should be a more sumptuous environment.... More

My wife and I visited Browns for our anniversary lunch, and it's fair to say we had an amazing experience. It started with a very warm and friendly welcome from our waiter Ian who served us superbly throughout the meal. The menu is mouth-watering and we opted for the tasting menu. A great choice, as the parade of smells, textures... More

went to Browns for the first time last night with my husband whilst spending the weekend in Derry. Felt completely uncomfortable the moment we walked in. Seated at a table with people traffic constantly running back and forth. The waiter's were not rude but seemed rushed and superficial. The food was cold, undercooked and tasteless. It was possibly just a... More

Our family celebrated my sister's 50th birthday at Browns and we were treated like royalty. I celebrated my own 50th birthday with my family here a few years before and it is still keeping to its very good standards. If you can eat before 7.30pm the early bird 3 course menu is very good value with an extensive menu. The... More

Overpriced and lacking real quality. Don't let the waiters pour the wine because they will try to fill you glass to the brim which I found annoying. Some of the seating is squashed. Not for going back...

Have visited Browns Bond Hill on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the early bird is very good value for money. I love the way the menus recommends a wine to pair with each dish on the menu. It's great to be able to sample a large variety of different wines by the glass.... More

Short and sweet. The service is sharp, the food is excellent, slightly higher end on the price scale, but will not disappoint, well worth it. Glad to see no Tobacco onions and pepper sauce in sight! 10/10

Had some excellent meals in Browns and, as a result, was looking forward to the wine tasting meal at £65 per head as our first post Christmas outing to one of our favourite restaurants. Left with mixed feelings. Our initial introduction set the tone when the surly maitre d' muttered 'name': No welcome here! Underwhelmed also by the way the... More
