We passed through Derry and booked a table at Browns. We rate this the best dinner we had on our trip in Northern Ireland. Food was excellent and service outstanding. Only area for improvement would be the wines but that is notorious problem in this part of the world. Would definitely go back.

Went for the early bird with some friends (£19.95 for 3 course meal) - we cleared every plate, the food was so good. The Risotto that I had was better than any I have had in any Italian restaurant in the UK. Deserts were all lovely but the cheese board (£1.95 supplement) was just to die for - it was... More

This restaurant really is a five plus. Best meal I have had in ages. Early bird menu £19.95 for a delicious 3 course meal. Describing the meal wouldn't do it justice. It was just so different. As well as the lovely seafood starter, lamb main course and pannacotta desert - all with a different twist- to the norm - the... More

Have visited numerous times, and never fails to impress. Recently had the early bird menu, and the staff are well trained & know the menu very well. All produce is locally sourced & lovingly prepared. Well worth visiting if you like your food.

During a recent trip to Londonderry to see the Clippers we were luck enough to get a table for the teatime special at Browns. It has long been a wish that we could visit this well known spot. We were not disappointed. From the moment we went through the front door until we left it was first class. The four... More

Had 3 courses for £19.95 so not the cheapest but my companion and I cleared our plates and agreed it was all very tasty, well prepared, satisfying! Service was attentive without being intrusive.

We have been to Browns quite a few times and I have never had anything but praise for the food. However, we went on Fathers Day and were very disappointed with the service. I don't know what happened but it seemed everyone at the tables around us were getting served before us despite us arriving before them. I asked for... More
