Had another great meal in Browns on the Waterside . Four of us had the 3 course meal for £20 is amazing. The starters of frito misto, pate, soup were amazing for mains we had beef, cod, trout and steak , small portions but enough in a 3 course meal . Vegetables could be nicer -very plain carrot and broccoli.... More

It was my 2nd visit to Brown's in the last 6 months and last night's experience was even better than the 1st. We arrived 20mins early - no problem. The service from start to finish was excellent. The early bird menu is such a great deal and the food of a much higher standard than the price point would indicate.... More

Heard much hype about this restaurant and was disappointed. Staff were friendly enough but the whole dining experience as a whole was bland and forgettable.

Browns is definitely a cut above a lot of the restaurants in Derry, with a menu populated by dishes that wouldn't appear out of place in some of the best fine-dining restaurants. There were however issues when we visited that can't be overlooked. Our starters were tasty, we chose the pigeon and pork cheek respectively and both were cooked well.... More

The staff are very attentive and professional. The food is excellent. always fresh and of great quality. Kevin is outstanding, nothing is ever too much trouble. Have eaten here on quite a few occasions both for lunch and dinner, we will definitely be back.

Browns cannot be considered your average restaurant. This restaurant is about about the quality and taste of food and drink with a relaxing and ambient atmosphere that allows you to savor every moment. Every dish was an enjoyable plethora of flavors accompanied with garnish, sauces and dips that added a unique attribute to each bite of the core dish. Even... More

I visited Browns for lunch recently with a friend and it was one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time. The food was superb - especially considering how reasonable the current lunch menu is. The staff were v pleasant and we didn't have to wait ages between courses. All starters and desserts at lunch were £3... More

Wonderful food, a three course menu for £20 per person, great service, the beetroot meringue amuse bouche was an explosion of flavour, great mix of flavours and perfectly cooked fresh fish, scallops and fish of the day (hake)

Dropped in casually and both my friend and I agreed the lunch was nicely judged and excellent quality. Portions may look smallish but we were replete by the time we had finished. Very friendly staff. Only query would be the price of things on the wine list. We had the house wine - nice but not cheap, and, by gosh,... More
