Generally had a great meal. Also the fact that for 21-24 quid for a set menu that includes appetiser s, amuse bouche and decent service is amazing. Unfortunately a few quality issues make me lean towards 4 stars. I am conflicted about this because I think it was reasonably balanced money vs quality... read more

I have eaten in this restaurant on numerous occassions and never have been dissappointed, if you want something a litte different this is the place to go, they do an excellent pre theatre menu at a very reasonable price, the a la carte menu can be pricy but worth it.

3 of us booked in last Saturday. When we arrived we were told our table was not ready. We were shown to a seating area where there were 2 chairs left and we were asked to wait there. No-one offered another chair for the 3rd person in our party. We were not offered the menu or drinks until about 15minutes... More

I enjoyed a meal at this restaurant last Thursday evening. Everything about this meal was perfect, from the wine, the presentation of the meal, and most importantly the attention that was given to us by the staff, Ian and Kevin. I will certainly be back soon and will recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Myself and my girlfriend decided last minute to travel up to Derry last weekend (to see Mayo play derry in the football league) - we went up on Saturday and on the basis of online reviews opted to check out Browns on Bond Hill. So we ventured across to the waterside and were warmly welcomed by staff. The initial vibe... More

Went to the wine tasting evening on the 28th February 2015. As always we were greeted at the door in a warm friendly manner. The menu instantly attracted our attention with its unusual combinations. Most outstanding part for me was the dessert - rhubarb, pistachio and sorbet. It is nice to try different wines with every course as recommend. As we... More

Excellent meal yet again. I have never been disappointed with the food or service in Browns. It is by far the best restaurant in the North West and I have not had better food anywhere. The food and wine evening last night had a beautifully balanced six course dinner perfectly accompanied by a superb selection of red, white and dessert... More

Regularly go for Sunday lunch and I have to say this is by far the best restaurant in Derry and the surrounding areas and unbelievable value for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend!
