Family group dinner. We Had the Sunday lunch set menu with the recommended wines. Firstly I must say the staff on the day were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. They even helped my pregnant wife negotiate the menu to meet her needs- clearly she wasn't drinking the wines however the Virgin Daiquiri she had was spectacular and not... More

Big fan of Browns and never had a bad meal here. Desserts are usually a highlight for me but the winter fruits were tough( would have needed a knife rather than a spoon to cut the pear) and not tasty. Left a bad taste quite literally. Hope it's a one off.

Have eaten in Browns on several occasions and have always enjoyed. Lovely restaurant, great food and efficient staff. We are looking forward to going back again soon.

Well recommended a lovely restaurant with good sized tasty meals - nice wine too. Duck was fabulous as was the Sea bream.

For our Christmas staff lunch this year we went to Browns and it was excellent. The lunch menu was very reasonably priced and the food was delicious. The portions were just perfect and all the food was delicious. Now the best part was the desert, I went for the white chocolate truffle cake and I have to say that there... More

We visit Derry at least twice a year, and have been intending to visit Browns for the last few visits - so glad we finally did. We booked a table for a Tuesday night, and when we turned up the place was nearly full. We were met and shown to our table promptly, by one of the very polite and... More

My first time at Browns with my Irish husband and his family. Having sacrificed a sunny Australian Christmas for a wet European one, the Browns lunch we experienced certainly made up for this! All of the dishes were tasty and of excellent quality. The prices were a lot lower than you would expect for the food served. I would definitely... More

I love Browns, but I'm getting a deja vu feeling following recent visits. The menu is not changing often enough and the amuse bouche are passé. It may just be me, for example, but the beetroot-infused meringues are well past their sell-by date!
