We went for Sunday lunch and it was simply outstanding. The food, the service, the atmosphere and price were each amazing. Had a fantastic afternoon and can't wait to return!

Stopped here with my aunt for a quick bite during a recent work trip to Derry. Had never been before and just happened to be passing. Was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with not only the excellent food but outstanding service at lunchtime. We were given Tasters from the kitchen while we waited and our server was just so friendly... More

Picked this from trip adviser. Great chef and lots of awards. We did the set dinner which was fab food and great value. Service was good too with friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Dropped into this restaurant tired and hungry after spending a cold morning walking along the coast road. Staff were very welcoming. Service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

I've given this restaurant experience an overall rating of average, as some aspects of it were really great and others very disappointing. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, if anything slightly over-the-top with an air of pomposity. The selection of nibbles that were brought to the table before the starters arrived was fantastic, our party of 8 had beetroot... More

Having not patronised Browns for a while, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday lunch we had there recently. Welcomed by the award-winning chef himself (Ian Orr), we were treated to the best service I've had in many restaurants. From the peach Bellinis to the complementary hand-made petits-fours with our coffees, the whole experience was a real treat. The... More

Two of our grandchildren have August birthdays , so 4 children and 8 adults went to Brown's , we were greeted by Kevan and Darren who told us of a few extras that were not on the menu. The beef slow cooked in a hot bath of water overnight and then BBQ'd , which most of us had. I had... More

My husband and I ate here at the beginning of August to celebrate a special occasion. We had the early bird menu which is £19.95 per person for 3 courses. The food was delicious and although it may look like there is not a lot on the plate we were certainly not hungry when we left. The service was excellent... More

My friend and I went on Saturday and had a wonderful meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and looked wonderful on the plate. The service was great and our server recommended a wonderful wine. All the little extras make you feel special. My favourite place to eat by a mile.

I did not quite know what to make of Browns. Some of the food was good but some was average - my friend had the cheeseboard which he said was absolutely outstanding. My soup course was fine but the portions for the main course were a bit sparse - you definitely need all three courses. It was a good place... More
