As locals living in England and following the Great British Menu and hearing from family how fab Brown's was we couldn't wait to go at Easter. I had the goat's cheese and beetroot which was so cold that none of the flavours could be appreciated. That was followed by a curried monk fish risotto = which i love but only... More

I went to Browns with some work colleagues recently and this was my first time in the restaurant. The food, although a bit more pricey than most if not all other local restaurants, was well worth it. Plus its nice to get a restaurant in the city that serves something that little bit different. This is a restaurant I'll definitely... More

Food was excellent, staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The outside of the restaurant may not be overly impressive but the food and staff (which are the important things) could not have been better.

This is a very nice restaurant when it comes to decour, style and ambience, and the service from front of house i have to say was flawless and very attentive, the best i have ever had in the City of Derry definately a hot spot for intertaining friends and clients, but probably not for the more discerning palate or 'food... Visited Browns with friends from out of town and am I glad I did. Everything about the evening was fabulous. The food? Wow! The food was amazing! We ate from the Early Bird, menu which at £19 95 was unbelievable value! It was beautifully presented and the flavours were absolutely wonderful. The staff were really pleasant and friendly and service... More

Ate here recently with my hubby. Enjoyed a lovely Early Bird Fixed price 3 course meal each. We had a mixture of waiting staff who were all attentive, pleasant and attended to my dietary requests with minimum of fuss. There was a full house by 6.15 pm so it was busy, busy. The presentation of food was lovely, art on... More

This was the last stop of a week long gastro tour of northern ireland. Having been a little disappointed with other restaurants we had visited earlier in the week which promised lots but failed to deliver we ordered with an open mind. Everything about the meal was excellent, from the wine and the amuse bouche to the main and desert.... More
