On our arrival we were directed to the bar by a friendly host once seated at the bar we were "greeted" by a very surly bar lady . . .all i can say is her manner of service left a LOT to be desired! Once seated we were served by a very friendly waiter. I ordered lamb Shank which was... More

I have been eating in Fitzroys for years now, and highly recommend it to anyone living in or visiting Derry. The quality of their food is top notch, and the pricing is extremely reasonable. We normally go here for family days out and celebrations. Their service is great, its spotlessly clean and always has a good clientele. I recommend the... More

Booked this as it seemed slim pickings in Derry after searching on trip advisor The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, in fact looks a bit grubby but inside is pleasant enough and we were greeted immediately on arrival. Seats were comfy and the place is large. Menu is on a large plastic covered poster type and we immediately... More

We went for lunch here last week. It was busy when we arrived but only had to wait about 5 minutes for table so that was ok. We then had to wait about 15 minutes to order and only got to do so after asking. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food with people who came after... More

Ate here recently with my wife. We both had 3 courses and the food was really delicious. Chowder/steak/duck/cheesecake/apple pie. One dish better than the other. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Also had a few drinks and the bill was less than 50 pounds. I have paid a lot more elsewhere for much less. Can't wait to return.

Came here after a day shopping with some friends. The food was beautiful. I had the 50/50 and i was fit to burst when i eventually finished it. Sadly my only criticism is customer service. This is a pet hate of mine. Customer service should be paramount and yes it was extremely busy when we were here but everything was... More

The food was excellent, nicely presented, hot with a classy touch. Fish dishes were fantastic with just the correct quantity for an enjoyable meal. Pleasant surroundings and the restaurant was busy the day we dined there, yet the staff seated is upstairs in a prompt professional manner. The only downside , and this does not reflect in the establishment, was... More
