Having eaten at Fitzroys on more than one occasion, I can say had on heart I have never had a bad experience there! The food and service is excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful and the cost low. What more could you ask for!

My wife and I have eaten lunch here on several occasions and we fully intend to make it our default restaurant in Derry. Sometimes its hard to get a table which obviously reflects its popularity. The food and service were first class and the staff were pleasant throughout each visit. Try the duck salad with black pudding crumbed onto the... More

We had vouchers and with the 30% off it was really good value. However the food and the service let it down :( Starters first, the nachos were just nachos and the chilli that came with them tasted ok but was very greasy. The others in my party had the seafood chowder which was cold. For mains I had chicken bang bang... More

Having attended this restaurant some 45 mins ago i find myself still waiting on freshly cooked food because the first attempt was clearly sitting under a heat lamp for some lengthy period of time!! When it did finally arrive it was thrown onto the table by a young man called Michael who appeared to not want to be here. The... More

We dropped in to see if we could get a table and it was very busy which reflects how popular this venue is. After have a drink we only had to wait about 25 mins for table in the upstairs section. Lots of birthdays happening and a vibrant crowd were all having a great time. A couple of pints of... More

Fitzroys was recommended to me by the B&B I was staying at as a great place to get a value meal, due to the 50% off. Firstly, I'd just point out that if the 50% hadn't been off, the prices would have been way too high. But, as there was the discount, all was fine. I had a bit of... More

This is a very popular and busy restaurant. The food is good and service not bad either. The staff could be a wee bit more friendly especially management and guys taking money at end. Impression you get is a busy restaurant that want people in and out, the personal touch could help by management. Food is always good and excellent... More
