Olive Bizarre is a delicious little spot in the harbour area of the town. You can enjoy exquisite teas/coffees with goodies galore and a view to die for. Our afternoon tea is highly recommended and our traybakes and scones will not fail to please. We have a vast range of savoury dishes and provide an array of gluten free and vegetarian foods. Our child friendly policy is also popular and to top it all our friendly team will make you feel very welcome. See you soon. John and Ciaraxox

A very pleasant 60's themed restaurant serving breakfast lunch or coffee. I've had all three!I love the China cup tea service and tea pots with teacosies....Lovely variety of scones too. Very friendly and pleasant staff.

This is one of my favourite spots in Newcastle -- beautiful location, great food and service. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch - or just the occasional coffee to re-energise you!

Not only do they do the best coffee and scones in county down but the service is great and the staff are friendly. A great vegetarian quiche with goats cheese and beetroot - really light - great porridge in the morning and changed my mind about sausage rolls after having one here with its Apple and herb filling. If you... More

My husband and I brought my mum for afternoon tea on Mother's Day. We would call into Olive Bizzare quite often as we love the food. We saw another table had the afternoon tea, so we were sold. The sandwiches were beautiful. However, I was extremely disappointed with the rest. Chocolate smarties cookies, one Mars bar square, no scones (even... More

We had a beautiful lunch here last weekend. The fish pie is the tasty I've ever had, The potato just melts in your mouth and it is packed with fish. My husband and I shared this along with an afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh as was the scones, fruit loaf, brownies and cupcake. Probably the tastiest brownies around and... More

Great place to grab a bite after a walk on a winter blower beach at Murlough Bay. This coffee shop always has something to entice us. Today we had pate on toast and toffee apple pie washed down with great coffee. Always something different on offer. Keep it up.

Been here a few times on visits to Newcastle, definitely a must see when you're in the town! From real barista style coffees to beautiful hand knitted tea cosies, they really go the extra mile to make the place original and special. The staff are always lovely and the food is home made and hearty. Particularly notable is the afternoon... More

Visited Olive Bizarre while on my holidays from manchester with my family, I totally enjoyed the whole experience of delicious foods both hot and cold. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and respectful especially both of the owners who advised us on the menu and olive bizarre is very child friendly. The best bit about olive bizarre was the...
