Olive Bizarre is a delicious little spot in the harbour area of the town. You can enjoy exquisite teas/coffees with goodies galore and a view to die for. Our afternoon tea is highly recommended and our traybakes and scones will not fail to please. We have a vast range of savoury dishes and provide an array of gluten free and vegetarian foods. Our child friendly policy is also popular and to top it all our friendly team will make you feel very welcome. See you soon. John and Ciaraxox

Pickup a Perky Lunch

Home cooking! Was in this morning to pick up a sandwich and coffee for home office (busy!) and liked the lunch menu so much! Making a special 'foot forward' to treat the Golfers and their Followers extremely well. Look out over the sea as you eat - best view in town, across the road and down a bit... read more

Had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday with a friend. Great selection of delicious food and treats with wonderful views out to a stormy sea in a funky retro setting. Staff were welcoming and very friendly :)

I have been in the Olive Bazarre on 3 occasions in the past 2weeks. I wondered if it would be as good as last year. Need not have worried-everything was perfect, from the quirky ambience,to the wonderful homemade food to the truly warm welcome from (I think his name is) John and the rest of the staff. A real 'jewel'... More

We used to be regulars here for brunch but things changed and we had not been in Newcastle for over a year so it was a nice little treat for my youngest daughter and I to stop here on Saturday for lunch. Some of our firm favourites were still on the menu - Beetroot and toasted goats cheese and the... More

What a gorgeous little gem! The menu is great, much more selection than the usual grease and ice cream offered on Newcastle's main street, someone has put a lot of thought into it and everything is made on the premises. The decor had me entranced, as did the bookshelves and the bathroom-wow! If I lived closer I think I would... More

Glad spring is here, missed my fav cafe au lait and white chocolate fifteen all winter. Menu varied and good quality. Staff friendly and accommodating, well with a visit.

A very pleasant 60's themed restaurant serving breakfast lunch or coffee. I've had all three!I love the China cup tea service and tea pots with teacosies....Lovely variety of scones too. Very friendly and pleasant staff.

This is one of my favourite spots in Newcastle -- beautiful location, great food and service. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch - or just the occasional coffee to re-energise you!

Not only do they do the best coffee and scones in county down but the service is great and the staff are friendly. A great vegetarian quiche with goats cheese and beetroot - really light - great porridge in the morning and changed my mind about sausage rolls after having one here with its Apple and herb filling. If you... More
