Don't leave Newcastle without eating here!!!

We eat here everytime we're in Newcastle. The food is gorgeous & reasonably priced. The all day fry is amazing although hard to finish!! It's always busy with locals & tourists but we've always been lucky to get a table.

Lovely breakfast, not greasy. Great value, includes tea or coffee, including top-ups and toast. Quick service . Plenty of newspapers to read. Will be back!

Last visit was only for a cafe creme shake... But I would almost drive to Newcastle one errand to pick me up a shake. Ice cream blended with your favourite chocolate bar, what's not yo like. I have eaten in Herr before also and have no complaints. Food is nice, staff friendly and establishment v clean.

This place is very busy with locals at lunchtime -- and we could see why. Desserts are delightful....and the big Caesar salad with chicken is a full meal. As is the potato with bacon. (Americans think of a potato as a side dish...these are full meals, healthy and delicious -- hate to say it, but the Idaho growers could learn... More

Always a good variety of food. Custard tart and a decaf coffee is a favourite of mine if I'm in the area. There is also a balcony outside for smokers or if you just want to sit in the sun. Its nice and sheltered too.

Stopped in for a quick espresso. Terrific service, very friendly. Many people were enjoying lunch - looked like a busy local crowd. Can only vouch for the espresso on this one!
