Good decent food

Have visited here over the years and have always been impressed by the staff, food and drinks. Visited here for coffee and a scone recently, the scone was just baked, it was a raspberry and white chocolate scone and it was lovely. Love how they do coffee refills, so you never feel rushed. The atmosphere was bustling and friendly, though a little cramped. The all-day breakfast was welcome, and at £5.40, including tea and toast, good value, though it was bread-heavy and did not feature fresh tomatoes; sausages also undistinguished - a pity when there are so many good local butchers to hand! Free top-ups were a bonus, though in the case of... More

We always make sure to stop for a bite here when in town. Never disappointed as the food is always made fresh and delicious. Very popular place as it is always busy which is a good sign. Very friendly staff!!

All good here! From the friendly courteous staff to the standard of the freshly made food and homemade scones and traybakes. They make fabulous soups. A good place to arrange to meet friends.

First visit to Cafe Creme and it couldn't have been better. Friendly efficient staff who produced freshly made food which was worth waiting for - and we didn't have a long wait. Everyone ordered something different and each dish was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. This will be our "Place to Go" when visiting Newcastle. Try it, you will love... More

The only bad thing I have to say is the queuing to order. I prefer to sit and have a menu and be served. Everything from service to food was beautiful. All home made and tasty. Tray bakes and deserts to die for and endless top ups of coffee is just what we like. Will be back and will recommend... More

Four of us visited for breakfast on Saturday 25th April 2015. We had a lovely tasty breakfast with tea and coffee, we were asked did we want a top up of drinks. The service was excellant and the place itself very inviting and clean. We will be back.

Had a good Irish breakfast here. It was not greasy and the soda bread was particularly yummy. It was good value for money and I liked there were free top ups of coffee.

We eat here everytime we're in Newcastle. The food is gorgeous & reasonably priced. The all day fry is amazing although hard to finish!! It's always busy with locals & tourists but we've always been lucky to get a table.
