A new1st choice

This was a fallback as our intention had been to go to the cafe opposite but it had no seats left - it was our gain. Couldn't fault the welcome, service, value and the food - now we've a new first choice in Newcastle.

Lovely little cafe, always very busy which is a good sign. Delicious fresh food and the staff are very friendly. Quick service, and very nice atmosphere.

Just the place to prepare for a winter walk in the Mourne Mountains with a hot breakfast. The Eggs Benedict hits the spot perfectly.

Cafe Creme has been a family favourite for many years. Simon and his staff always provide good quality, fresh food and a clean cafe time and time again. My only criticism is the public and their selfishness - keeping seats when they've not even decided their menu choices never mind placed their order. The signs are quite clear - don't... More

Called in a few times now with my wife, couldn't ask for more, the food was great and so was the service, highly recommended, more welcoming than a so called restaurant in the town!!!

Cafe Cree has the best Ulster Fry in Newcastle, the staff are friendly and the cafe itself is always clean, prices aren't too bad

This cafe is excellent. We were sorry to have missed Simon, this time round, but we still enjoyed our very favorite Soda Bread French Toast. We don't live in Portadown anymore but when we did we used to visit here any Saturday morning whenever the tide was low and work allowed. There are lots of other tasty treats but this... More

We went to Newcastle for the day and needed somewhere for lunch. Plenty of cafes to choose in Newcastle but we decided to try this one. We had Paninis which were lovely. Was more baguette heated in panini machine but it done the job and tasted lovely. Bbq chicken and cheddar was good. The wife had sweet chilli chicken and... More

We experienced this café a few times as we did not stayed at a b&b. My girlfriend and I found every occasion excellent service and beautiful food. The omelette's were the best eggs in town. The top up coffee's were part of their fantastic service and I would certainly go there again for another meal or two.

Our friends (from NI) brought us here for a bite to eat and coffee upon our arrival to NI and after enduring a long overnight flight to Dublin (and then a drive to NI) from the West Coast the U.S. We enjoyed the coffee and our food, and particularly ejoyed the owner who came over to our table to check...
