I love this cafe. Love the coffee and especially love the fact they do top ups. Great choice of scone flavours. Love the coconut and jam tray bake.

We stopped off here briefly one Saturday afternoon and were surprised to find we could have a very good milkshake with a chocolate bar of our choice in it. I had an oreo one and my husband had a mars bar milkshake - delicious, nice atmosphere, sensibly priced. Cafe Creme is opposite the very busy Cafe Maud's and offers an... More

Started to get hungry as we walked along the Main Street. With soo many cafes, I didn't know which one to choose we thought this one looked nice. We hit the nail on the head with the all-day breakfast as it was fabulous with choice of beans or mushrooms. The whole thing was gorgeous and coffee was fab. Staff are... More

Nice modern cafe with a wide ranging menu of food and specialist shakes. The food is really good and presented well. The coffee is equally as good and so are the top ups!! A great place to go on a weekend morning for a bit of breakfast and a coffee to chill out. Always busy but always great service!

Have visited here over the years and have always been impressed by the staff, food and drinks. Visited here for coffee and a scone recently, the scone was just baked, it was a raspberry and white chocolate scone and it was lovely. Love how they do coffee refills, so you never feel rushed. If visiting Newcastle definitely make a point... More

The atmosphere was bustling and friendly, though a little cramped. The all-day breakfast was welcome, and at £5.40, including tea and toast, good value, though it was bread-heavy and did not feature fresh tomatoes; sausages also undistinguished - a pity when there are so many good local butchers to hand! Free top-ups were a bonus, though in the case of... More

We always make sure to stop for a bite here when in town. Never disappointed as the food is always made fresh and delicious. Very popular place as it is always busy which is a good sign. Very friendly staff!!

All good here! From the friendly courteous staff to the standard of the freshly made food and homemade scones and traybakes. They make fabulous soups. A good place to arrange to meet friends.

First visit to Cafe Creme and it couldn't have been better. Friendly efficient staff who produced freshly made food which was worth waiting for - and we didn't have a long wait. Everyone ordered something different and each dish was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. This will be our "Place to Go" when visiting Newcastle. Try it, you will love... More
