Have been going to the toscano for years and it does the best pizzas in the local area! Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and on a clear day you can see the isle of man. The pizzas are magnifico and if you've never had bruscetta you have never lived. So if you're in Newcastle and... More

We were going to Newcastle for the day so I decided to "Google" local restaurants to find a decent eatery. Toscano was one of the first ones we came across & fancied Pizza so we phoned to book it with 30 minutes notice and walked along the strip to find it. From the outside it doesn't look like much but... More

Visited recently for Pizza. First time at the Toscano. Portions are a good size. Will return to sample rest of menu.

So glad we visited this pizzeria, the pizzas were superb, my wife had the lasagne which was as good as the pizzas she said, service could be better but that won't stop us from going back.

Tried this small tucked away upstairs pizzeria today and so glad we did. My partner and little girl went here and the pizza is excellent. Spacious but cosy, overlooking the seafront and not at all fancy, but the food is fantatsic, very reasonable priced for the 3 of us with juice it was 15 pounds which you can easily pay... More

Shared one of the special Pizzas,a Vesuvio, pepperoni. chilli, bacon, mozzarella with garlic dip and side salad and a carafe of wine. We couldn't fault it. There was plenty for two. Amazing value, friendly service and fantastic sea views.

With my visit coinciding with the Christmas period, exceptionally busy - but service was adequate, food was well presented and full of flavour - the singer was exceptionally good, in the style of Frank Sinatra.

Quite funny to find such an excellent pizza in northern ireland! The owners are two Italian brothers, very nice people. The restaurant is in front of the seaside and the view is awesome. I will surely come back

We ate in Toscano's this evening. We had a table with a lovely view out over the sea to the mountains, and I like the way the decor is fairly simple, without trying too hard. This is a pizzeria, not an Italian Restaurant, so it's primarily pizza on the menu. There are very limited other options, only three salads and... More

I was shocked to hear that "large" flies were seen by you in not one but two items of food, but thankfully after a thorough inspection none could actually be found in the pizza, I again offer you my sincerest apologies. More
