Fantastic NYE night. The food as always was amazing. The drinks were delightful and refreshing. The staff are always so attentive and helpful. I've never had a bad outing to Vanilla! Love it!

Vanilla has been suggested to me and my wife by many people who have ate there and we felt that it did not prove how great some people make it out to be. I had the spring roll and my wife had the squid and beef which was satisfactory are mains however were not my steak was like rubber and... More

We were staying at the Slieve Donard hotel and decided to eat out on both nights to Newcastles top 2 eateries on each of our nights stay. All I can say is WOW. Food and service were both outstanding and we couldn't fault anything on the night even though they seemed to be ran off their feet with another large... More

Love Vanilla, can't count how many time I've eaten here now, I live 20min away so if friends or family are visiting its the place we go to. Both lunch (the creole chicken burger is well worth a try) and dinner menus have great choice and the food tastes amazing, good normal food cooked and presented to the highest standard.... More

The place, in terms of decor, can't quite decide if it's a cafe or high-end restaurant, but the flavors are quite good. We ordered mussels, soup, and salad; for mains we went with chicken and duck. The mussels were the only bone of contention in terms of flavor. I don't think these were regularly on the menu and their pairing... More

We were delighted to find this gem of a restaurant in Newcastle, although narrow, the number of tables fit well in the space and the bustle of the staff and the clientele work well giving atmosphere. The food was excellent, and we struggled to choose. I dislike ice cream, and when ordering dessert was told there was none, yet when... More

Myself Andy husband have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years now. We go for special occasions, Sunday lunch, Christmas dinner, dessert, light lunch. We have never been disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely place, clean, ever changing menu which offers new and exciting flavours of Northern Ireland and beyond. Generous portions for the price! I could not recommend this... More
