Enjoyed a really good lunch here, sitting at an outside table overlooking a sparkling sea. Mine was a Classic Caesar Salad with chicken, which was just as it should be. His was the Superfoods Salad which was absolutely amazing: a rainbow of superfood salad ingredients, including edamame beans and sesame seeds, in the lightest of vinaigrette dressings - served in... Visited this restaurant twice while staying at the Sleive Donard hotel. Situated in the grounds of the hotel the restaurant has a warm cosy atmosphere, many tables have wonderful views looking out over the sea through 2 panoramic windows. The staff are friendly and the food is beautifully presented. Would recommend the scampi, haddock and chips.

The Guinness was £3.80 a pint and the bar is basically just a big open room now. The dining part is probably good if you get one of the picture windows. And there is outside seating. But I would not bother going for a just a drink again, its too expensive for drinks and the bar food is also expensive... More

It was the first day of the Premiership so finding a bar with a screen showing the football was paramount... we'd just dined at Vanilla so the Percy French was close at hand but is usually more a haunt for golfers than footie fans. But once again, the impeccable service, comfortable seats AND big screen MOTD action of the Percy... More

The drinks and the food were over priced, but a nice bar in a lovely setting. The Staff were efficient and courteous.

Visited the Percy French for lunch with colleagues. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The weather also gave us the opportunity to sit outside and take in the breathtaking views of the Mournes. Service was speedy and staff polite and friendly. Well done folks - will be back!

Was staying at The Slieve Donard and went to The Percy French for dinner along with our 2 kids. The service was good but the food was disappointing - poor curry, dry chicken gougons with tasteless batter. The Scampi wasn't much better and sausages for one of the kids must have been cooked at least twice, all-in-all disappointing for the... More

Decided to take a trip to the Percy French restaurant at the Slieve Donard and couldn't have been more worth it! Greeted by a pleasant and efficient member of staff who showed us to a lovely window table with a beautiful picturesque view. The staff were all very attentive during our meal giving a very good standard of service throughout.... More
