Fabulous steak

Had a meal here on Friday 14 November. There were twenty of us and all had a really excellent meal. Food was perfectly cooked to order and beautifully presented. Staff were very efficient and friendly.

We were too tired to venture out so we tried the hotel restaurant and had great meals. They were all priced at L16 and service was very nice. Glad we tried it!

This was the worst meal that we have had in long and many's a day. We hadn't eaten here for a few years and had decided to revisit on the strength of recommendations and decent reviews. How disappointed we were. The writing was on the wall when we were presented with the slightly expanded bistro menus (i.e. bar snacks) as... More

An impromptu visit to the local hotel provided us with a very pleasant evening. An efficient service offering steak fish and the usual alternatives. 6 or 7 starters and the same number of dessert choices. Supremely short wait between courses due to excellent service. A standard wine list but nothing that stands out. Special mention goes to the sticky toffee... More

I'll open by saying we eat at the Armagh City Hotel's Sunday carvery reasonably regularly and find it very good. However, I opted for their bar menu for a quick dinner for the kids and I at the weekend and thats what this review relates to. Firstly, if you had to wait on the staff to bring you menus you'd... Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have been here on a few occasions and food is always amazing quality and the prices are great for what you get. the set menu's on special occasions are always very good, we have been for valentines and mother's day specials and would now love to try their Christmas menu's. Would also note... More

Myself and one friend ordered the lasagne, and my veggie friend ordered the vegetarian pasta (as this was the only veg choice on the menu). No complaints whatsoever with the food,... More
