What a gem of a restaurant. A rare experience to find a wonderful standard of food from the home made bread, hand churned butter, goat which melted in the mouth and everything was faultless. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. There was a roaring fire and the snow was falling outside. We will be back.

Totally blown away by the two girls who served my family tonight 22/12/14. They were attentive without being annoying and so down to earth and friendly, making us all laugh throughout the evening, made all the difference. They knew their stuff inside out and I really got the feel they enjoyed their work. I'm a stickler for customer service having... More

Had been meaning to eat here for a while. So prior to attending Bublé called in for lunch. We arrived before the doors opened but staff seen us, opened the door and we got a table beside the fire. The starter and main course were lovely. Had a great meal and looking forward to going to new premises.

After a great time at the panto in the Market Place theatre just across the square, four of us headed to Uluru for dinner last Saturday night. First time for all and we'll all be back. Varied and well-priced menu and a decent wind list led to a happy quarter hour of decision making. I can recommend the kangaroo, if... More

The redeeming feature was the food, which was above average for this area, with scallops and crispy pork belly being the star dish of the night. The front of house staff were very helpful & pleasant, so why spoil this by not ensuring the kitchen staff ensure that oil is changed more frequently as the smell of used cooking oil... More

I visited Uluru for the first time in a couple of years last week and I was quite disappointed with the experience. Previously I was overwhelmed by the flavour, variety and novelty (Kangaroo for example) of the menu and was really looking forward to a repeat performance. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. I had the special Brisket... More

We were in Armagh for a recording of the BBC's Blame Game show on Thursday 30th October past. The restaurant is just across the square in a lovely older end of terraced location. We had a lovely meal of starters and mains . I had the seafood broth which was totally different, and nicer , to a chowder that i... More
