Nice dinner, great service

Showed up with a party of seven(including a 17 mo old) no reservation, the hostess seated us right away with a high chair. The service was excellent, the food was great. Only downside it was a bit crowded. Well worth a visit!

My cousin's birthday at a place he'd eaten before should have been a pleasant experience. Waiting 30 minutes to be asked if we'd like anything to drink was not. The wrong sides being served was not either. Nor was a well-cooked steak being presented as medium, and after it being returned to the kitchen for another few minutes' cooking and... More

We were recommended this place by the lady who runs the B+B we were staying at as every night there is a certain deal worth checking. I think it was steak night when we were there, which meant we eat two for £20 or so, drinks apart. You need to book in advance but we were seated near the pub... More

This place serves superb steaks. I took the 10oz but would happily have settled for the 8oz, all of which were served with delicious side dishes. I really look forward to going back. The starters were delicious too!!

Been here a few times as we come over to Balltcastle every year.. Food is generally really good and no exception this year, it was lovely and it's very good value for money particularly in relation to wine with bottles starting at £12. There are a couple of things I think could be improved on however. Firstly, while the service... More

This is my favourite local place to eat. Always great food, local seafood specials always on offer and great staff. Very accommodating and a great time whenever we go. Highly recommended... Five big stars!!!

Always on the list when visiting the North Coast and this was no exception. Lovely atmosphere and great staff - who look after you but are never intrusive. Try the pork belly with black pudding or the enormous seafood platter. Reasonably priced, it's a little gem on the coast...

We went on a Wednesday, when two 8 oz steaks are served with a sauce and (lots of) chips for £20. The steaks were way bigger than 8 oz, of very high quality, and the place is recommended.
