We would regularly visit belfast and James st is our favourite restaurant.. Very minimalist decor and great service.. This is probably the best restaurant in belfast.. Food always consistently excellent and great value... Very we'll worth a visit..

My wife treated me for my birthday, on arrival we were seated at the end of a row of tables which are a little too close, we ordered a drink and looked at the menu, after ordering our food came pretty quick and was tasty but definitely not amazing, overall we had a good evening and staff were very friendly... This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Belfast Never disappoints! As a veggie it always has something beautiful. Can't wait until it opens it's door again.

Love the food, love the service. Slightly pricey but it's worth it. Love the dessert the best. Would recommend this place to everyone visiting Belfast.

We dined at South James Street on our wedding anniversary (always heard the Directors of my company talking about it). The food was absolutely excellent, the combination of ingredients was perfect, the desert was a taste of Heaven and to top it off Mr James Nesbitt (the Hobbit) was dining there too! Will go back for another gourmet meal... Definitely!

Just wanted to visit jss once again before it takes on its new look. ?
