Just wanted to visit jss once again before it takes on its new look. ? Absolutely fab meal , the jss plate as a starter was new to me but wow was it good, particularly the salt baked artichoke and cured salmon, my friends certainly enjoyed the crab lasagne which looked just yummy. Top quality food, Belfast deserves a few michelin stars, JSS should have one of them! Innovative flavours such as fois gras toast with pigeon and sweet corn sauce. Great service, ambience. I implore the michelin tasters to check out Belfast!!

This may not be the cheapest restaurant in Belfast, but it is definitly worth every cent. We went to this place in June with a group of people and the dinner was fantastic. the menu features a good selection of local products and cooking was simply perfect. as starter, I went with the salmon and Nettle Purée. Americans traveling through, my wife and I ate her on two consecutive nights; the first was so good we just had to return. On our first night we had cured salmon, artichoke, mushroom ravioli, gnocchi, broccoli, cheese plate, passion fruit granite and after-dinner drinks. On... More

I went here last night with my fiancée for the first time. The staff were very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable with regards to the menu. We opted for the 4 course taster meal and what a surprise package this was. A crab based starter followed by a turbot taster then main course of beef with champ and finished off... More

Fish, chicken and steak cooked to perfection and delicious as were the accompanying vegetables. The staff were very aware of GF and anything they were not sure of, they asked chef. This is refreshing and makes dining out a much more relaxed affair for those with allergies. The only thing I can fault and I really found the level of... More

On our trip to Belfast, we had dinner in this restaurant and from the minute we walked in until we left, the service was great and the food was so good, with a lovely bottle of wine, we really enjoyed dining there and would recommend it to everybody.
