Not for me, they had no idea what the tea was when I asked for it off the menu by its Japanese name. The tofu was OK, and very much Cantonese style, and the rice was pretty low quality, tasteless and not properly cooked. Surroundings were a bit tacky and faux Japanese. Never again.

Been to Sakura about 5 times and have always had a fantastic meal. This time we started with japanese dumplings and octopus balls. Absolutely beautiful. Never thought i could bring myself to eat octopus. Then we had mango duck and honey chilli chicken with udon noodles. Perfect! Always recommend this restaurant to my friends

Ive tried sushi from a packet from supermarkets and loved it so decided to try freshly made stuff. And I did not regret it! As this was my first time having Japanese food I was a little hesitant and anxious but the sushi train was a great way to introduce me to freshly prepared sushi. The staff were friendly and... More

We went to Sakura to had our dinner and enjoy it. Everything was really fresh, very delicious, very fast serving. A lot of sushi variety, for every taste. Amazing idea of spinning sushi bar, it helps to choose your eyes what they wants and also you can get something while you wait for another order from the menu. Hopefully we... More

I started going here in November time to get the Sushi to Go that's advertised on the board outside. The sushi is fresh, menu is amazing and the staff friendly. Belfast needs Sakura.

Everything about this place is wonderful. The staff are friendly and efficient, the menu has something for everyone and the food is superb. It is not expensive and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a nice night out to start at this restaurant.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a Sunday evening after looking online for a restaurant and finding many restaurants in Belfast close on Sunday evenings. After being a little bit panicked that we may not find anywhere, we drove around until we found one that was open and it happened to be Sakura. Well, that was a lucky find for... More

My husband and I went here last night for a special anniversary meal. We began by ordering tea, one cup was brought between two of us, we then had the sushi train for starters, it was nice but at £3.50 a plate ridiculously overpriced (being one of the few restaurants in Belfast that serves sushi they obviously can get away... We went to Sakura for lunch on 12.11.13 and ate from the sushi train. If you like authentic fresh sushi and Japanese food generally then I would recommend this without hesitation. Sushi was super fresh and well made - no Yo Sushi rubbish here. Ordered salmon sashimi from the menu as none out and it was fantastic. Generous slices of... More
