Had a few drinks here on a short trip to Belfast. It was recommended to us by a newspaper seller when we asked where to find a traditional pub. It has a lot of character and tradition being very old. The staff were very friendly and there were some lively characters drinking there who kept us entertained!

Great, good value, homely food, in a characterful Belfast city centre bar, but get there early for lunch on a working day.

Have been here a few times, but generally when it's packed, so it was nice to call in a couple of weeks back, when it wasn't so busy. It a lovely looking bar, with a nice crowd, with a trendier bunch out back. However, I have read a few reviews, which mentioned that the staff were rude, and I have... More

Ate here at lunch time, it's a great traditional looking pub with a lovely atmosphere, Slight wait for food but was worth for, I had the pie and champ, really tasty and a good portion size.

Lovely place, stopped in for a sandwich after getting soaking wet and freezing cold met by great staff and the biggest sandwich you have seen - if I was more tech minded I would post it here - maybe some day. Thank you so much from Orkney x

Great pub grub with massive portions which sets you up rightly for trying out some of their huge selections of beers! Staff are friendly and professional and the girl serving us really seemed to know her stuff when it comes to craft ales! All in all a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

Called in recently for lunch. It was Friday payday so they where obviously very busy but that made no difference. We where seated quickly and offered a drink from the bar. And what a selection of drinks! I took a Fischer's which was a great choice! Despite how busy it was the waitress quickly took our food order and it... More

By far, the worst staff I've ever experienced in a bar. Wanted to split our group up because not enough of us were eating. Not that there was another table free anyway. We decided to order without her permission and the food was a disgrace. you used to have a good feed in The Garrick but the portion size has... More
