My wife and I had dinner in Tedford’s Restaurant last week. Although the menu is not extensive it has a good selection of seafood dishes using locally sourced produce with some meat and game additions. There is both a pre-theatre and an al a carte menu, the difference being the former is more limited, but if you ‘do the math’... More

Absolutely loved every aspect of our 3 course dinner, the presentation of each dish was just beautiful! The only downside of our experience was the service. The waiting staff were attentive and polite, however came across a little robotic. Even with an obvious birthday badge, no 'Happy Birthday' or small talk was offered - feels like the staff are on... Not being a fish lover I was quite anxious about what I would eat at Tedfords, but I need not have worried. I decided to be adventurous and had the curried roast monkfish, which was absolutely delicious - I am now a monkfish convert!! I did feel that generally the menu was quite pricey - especially the starters. I would... More

This was my first visit to Tedfords and although I was not disappointed - I was not blown away either! Having decided not to have a starter, we enjoyed the selection of bread that was on offer. We all had fish for our mains - 2 of us had the "catch of the day" which was Rock Bass and this... More

Quick midday lunch at this great restaurant which never has disappointed me. Todays three course lunch menu at £20 proved to be a great choice and great value. The main a-la-carte menu is also available to widen your selection although this can become a little expensive for a lunch. Our two meals were - Goats cheese and beetroot starter; hake... More

I have to say I found Tedfords very very disappointing. I didn't think there was a very good selection on the menu I thought the food was overcooked and very very overpriced. The portions were small you had to pay extras for side. The service was very bad my friend is a coeliac asked for a special gluten free bread they... More

If you want a fish restaurant in Belfast this is the place to go! The monkfish is really tasty although I have been once when it was a bit overdone.Try and get a table upstairs - much better atmosphere.

Great pre meal drink, kir Royale & amazing Gin special. Shared the scallops, perfect size for us but some may find portion small. Our waitress was excellent, right amount of attention without being in your face. Sea bass was outstanding and the Turbot was best ever tasted. Had a lovely Chardonnay With the fish Espresso Martinis for desert!!!🍷🍸🍹

If you love fish, this restaurant is a must. We tried 3 different fish dishes and they were all superb! I went for the special, John Dory, and I've never tasted fish cooked as well as this before but it was all the accompaniments and the sauce which just topped it off. Dessert was fantastic also, such attention to detail,... More
