Excellent food, pricey but tasty

Lovely little restaurant right beside the river and across from the famous 'fish sculpture' by John Kindness. Tastefully decorated with an air of sophistication. Lots of fish on the menu as you would expect, but also steak, lamb etc. Food is exceptionally good and service is personal and friendly... read more

This is a delightful little restaurant with excellent food and first class service. It is a very short walk from the Hilton hotel, on the waterfront. Add it to your list of places to eat in Belfast.

Blew me away. Not exaggerating when I say I have been to some of the best restaurants in the world and this was great food and a great price. The night we went it lacked a little atmosphere but otherwise the whole experience couldn't be faulted. Order the monkfish you won't regret it

Booked last minute so got a seat downstairs. Service was a little slow at the start but food was very good. Staff could be a little more attentive but overall a good experience and would like to try upstairs sometime soon!

Having had a few too many afternoon g&t's , we decided to ditch the car and try to get somethng to eat in Belfast..knowing well it was Friday evening and we hadn't booked anywhere, we took a chance and grabbed a taxi down into the town centre. We were turned away from our first establishment as they said they were... More

This very unassuming restaurant holds an amazing secret! The best food ever. I live in London and unfortunately for my waist line I've dined in quite a few Michelin star restaurants there. Tedfords beats them all, the chef really understands food and how to use it when it's at its best, all the food and what it was combined with... More

this is a wonderful, top notch restaurant. Seafood speciality but caters for meat eaters too. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Small menu which changes often. My all time favourite. Open for lunch, pre-theatre and dinner.

I have been to Tedfords 3 times and the first 2 I absolutely loved it, each time I have gone I have opted for the monkfish main as it is amazing. However, I was here last week with my boyfriend and all the dishes were extremely over seasoned. The taste of salt was so over powering and completely unnecessary. The... More
