Good company dinner organised for a group of ~15. The food was very nice and similar to what I had during my previous visit. This time I had the mackerel and salmon and they were lovely - full of flavour and nicely presented. The one thing that could have been better was the pre-dinner drinks in the basement - the... My girlfriend and I regularly go here for special occasions and it is definitely worth it. The food here is very tasty and well presented. As a creature of habit, I always go for the steak which is always cooked to perfection. Looking forward to visiting again over Christmas.

The best meal I have in Belfast. This restaurant is very good. The food was superb, the staff were prompt, helpful and courteous. I was part of a rather loud raucous work party but I certainly enjoyed the food and wine. I had spicy duck rolls - which were hot but not too hot. The main of medium steak was... More

A group of us ate here for our friends birthday. It was our first time eating at the restaurant and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and very well presented. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. We sat a round table which was nice as there was 6 of us and the atmosphere was relaxed... More

We were going to a venue in the Waterfront and chose Tedfords as it is just across the road and they do a pre theatre menu. We both had off the Pre Theatre ,Celaric and. Celery soup and gnocchi and goats cheese for starters . Both were delicious and came with freshly baked chilli and olive bread. For mains my... More

A group of us dined here for a birthday celebration. Service and food were excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant. They do a very good pre theatre menu also. Can't wait to return.

As a midweek walk in, the 30 minute wait was worth it. The "flagship" monk fish and a starter of scallops, both fresh and preparation of the seafood were perfect. The only "flaw" was the accompaniments on the plate of the monk fish which did not provide enough of a "counter balance" to the fish. . The house chardonnay was... More

We chose Tedfords as our celebratory venue as I had always wanted to go to the "quintessential" fine fish restaurant in Belfast, there are others as well, but Tedfords has history (built 1843)once being the oldest chandler.
